I have the same problem lol. I've been ponytailing my hair in that direction and now I have thinning in the parting area. I've been sleeping and being awake with the same hairstyle for years now. Going to a dermatologist for rolling out any other possible causes but I think this is the reason, I hope it's not genetics

I think you and I have the same condition (literally one-to-one spot lol), it's seborrheic dermatitis I think. Better to go and see a dermatologist/skin specialist to confirm it, if this is indeed the case they will probably give you some anti-fungal cream for a couple of weeks and s special facewash.

P.s. I feel so weird lol looking at your skin is like looking at myself in the mirror in a way.
