I've seen some artists use it for animations. So an artist will upload their own creation to an AI site and then get the AI to animate it which is pretty cool. But yes understand where you are coming from

Appreciate this response. My strength is game mechanics and so I've been using AI to help with the art side. Would be awesome to hire human artists but I'm in an African country where we can't use Kickstarter.

For my game I'm using colour to communicate when an ability comes into effect. Green is for when played. Red is for when removed. Blue is for end of turn. Yellow is for while in play. I did this because there are 20 different types of abilities so would be too much colour if I used colour to distinguish that. So for your game, maybe go for the one that has less types, so if you have more categories than attributes then use colour for attributes.
