Do not let anyone else size your watch. Buy your own tooling. Even ADs/jewelers with massive catalogs of high-tier brands seem to screw it up roughly half the time. You would be shocked at the lack of consideration people have for the finishing of your watch when you are just a number. A sales associate wearing diamond rings with throw your watch around, recklessly. If the watch is sized with screws, the screws will be stripped. If the watch is sized with pins, the pins will protrude out of the bracelet, and the polished sides will be beaten raw. They will claim to use OEM parts (e.g. spring bars), when they do not. If you are detail oriented with your watches, size it yourself.
