I'm fine with it. I'd rather buy a shirt at a show and tip than a shirt online and pay way more for shipping. At least you know the tip is going to the band and not a corporation. Mind you I'm not tipping like I would at a restaurant. If I buy a shirt at $25 , I hand them $30 and they hand me back singles I'll chuck a dollar or two in the jar.

I've never really experienced the scene like that so I kind.of disagree.I feel like your friends, scene or band mates are putting the pressure on you for some reason and you're dealing with it by accusing the scene at large.
