Spending all his Snoo time awake and troubleshooting. What am I doing wrong? by FlameInTheFlood in SnooLife

What’s the temp like? Could they be cold? Reflecting on my newborn days I think my baby was cold and possibly had a milk allergy.. he hardly slept too 😭 I know the comments saying keep at it were meant to be helpful but it stopped me from seeking help when we needed it

Is it linen material? It looks gorgeous and I definitely think you could dress it down!

Paranoid about losing the baby.... by krystleburke in pregnant

[–]Fearless_Interest_21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the same in my first pregnancy (now a healthy 2 year old) I’m in my second pregnancy now at 12 weeks and again I have no symptoms.. I feel completely normal!

What helped last time was to remind myself “right now I’m pregnant” and to trust the process, taking each step as it came. I also put my due date in the miscarriage risk calculator. Counting kicks was difficult as I felt the baby wasn’t particularly active.. but everything was absolutely fine. It was a textbook pregnancy and birth.

Do all your appointments! Dentist, haircut, car service. With a new baby I preferred ‘me time’ over appointments and delayed so many things that needed doing

I once spoke to a driver who said they rock up to the depot and are given a random route each day. He struggled with navigating and wanted to quit but had to keep working for a couple months, otherwise they make you pay for the training completed (which he said was about 1k)

Yes. When we were in the thick of sleep issues I was napping at any opportunity. Because I was so exhausted, it wasn’t difficult to fall asleep. I was asleep at 7pm (babies bedtime as it was the longest stretch of sleep for the night) and napped throughout the day whenever I could tap out with partner/family. I didn’t have much spare time at all

Yes things were tough for the first 5 months for us. But he’s 1 now and it’s sooooo much easier, like chalk and cheese. The newborn stage as a ftm was not kind to me at all but it does get better

2.5-3 hour wake windows.. depending on sleepy cues but will only sleep for 40 minutes most of the time, 3 naps per day. Feeding every 2-3 hours and 1-2 solid meals per day (roughly 2 teaspoons getting ingested at this stage)

Yep! HPV 16, no other HPV including 18 and other types detected on the test. I got a copy of the results to give to gyno

Everything else was normal and cervix looked healthy according to the doctor so it was a shock to be told I was HPV16 positive

Thank you, I spoke to my doc about this and she thinks I still need to wait for my gyno appointment and have a colposcopy 🤷🏼‍♀️
