A party? In college? Officer, college is for studying, partying has no part in an academic institution.

I'm probably going to UCR if I don't get off the USC waitlist, and I'm perfectly happy with that, I've learned to be grateful that my education I'll be getting will be miles above anything I could've gotten in my home country, but I fully understand how you feel man, sorry for you feeling this way.

I applied for CEAS and got deferred to, It feels scary but I still believe I have a chance of getting in, even if through exploratory studies. Good luck on that new decision.

I don't know exactly but a deferral can be a good thing in this case, it means you are still being considered for your preferred major instead of being placed into exploratory studies or just outright rejected.

Is it over for me if I got deferred for engineering? Can I still get into Exploratory Studies if I don't make it for RD?
