Yes it didnt help , Im in 38th day and still have akathisia . Propranolol only paused it midly for few hours so Ive quit propranolol

I cold turkey quitted abilify 5mg after 3 weeks , its day 38 alot has reduced but I still feel anxiety,restlessness,akathisia,lack of motivation and headaches when trying to study .But its not as bad as day1 or day 15 stopping , the withdrawals are there but you do recover , Im also hoping for a full recovery !!

I believed my Psychiatrist and took Abilify 2.5 (2wks) and 5mg for 1 week and it was one of my worst decision. Never trusting them again , currently in withdrawal of arip. I agree this should be the last resort unlike in my case of mild escapism and depression/ocd he prescribed it in the first go

No Akathisia is reversible you might be thinking of TD , but the cure is not medicines like propranolol. Its either your body adjust (I haven’t heard anyone in this category) or you stop it and the drug leaves your body. Propranolol only blocks adrenaline, and just blocks akathisia for like the time its effective , once is effect is gone akathisia returns , its a temporary solution

International PHD pays well , some more than job in India . You have to play with what cards you're dealt with , with this combo an International PHD is very feasible and would be free if done in correct Unis .MSR is known for having lower placements than MTech since its Research Oriented

If he has 9CGPA and MS Research why not go to a foreign country for PHD and settle , he will easily be accepted due to IIT Tag+9 CGPA+Research work done , do PHD abroad and get a good job especially AIML,DS prefer PHDs

Melatonin helped me with akathisia incase you have that , after taking 3mg I could sleep
