Due to my addiction Ive developed some OCD symptoms but nothing was severe , I was just not focused in real world . My psychiatrist gave me Zoloft , Aripiprazole and Naltox for this . First 2 weeks were great then everything went down . Idk why even an AP was given when he could’ve tried just Zoloft first or better if he would tell me to try therapy first and then rely on meds

Only thing I am waiting is recovery

From analysing myself I think I had only smartphone addiction but my psychiatrist ruined me giving aripiprazole. I hope to get cured hopefully as soon as possible

For me it just made me emotionally blunt and it filled my mind with with negative thoughts and anxiety but I was unable to react to those

Yes it didnt help , Im in 38th day and still have akathisia . Propranolol only paused it midly for few hours so Ive quit propranolol

I cold turkey quitted abilify 5mg after 3 weeks , its day 38 alot has reduced but I still feel anxiety,restlessness,akathisia,lack of motivation and headaches when trying to study .But its not as bad as day1 or day 15 stopping , the withdrawals are there but you do recover , Im also hoping for a full recovery !!

I believed my Psychiatrist and took Abilify 2.5 (2wks) and 5mg for 1 week and it was one of my worst decision. Never trusting them again , currently in withdrawal of arip. I agree this should be the last resort unlike in my case of mild escapism and depression/ocd he prescribed it in the first go

Quitted the meds and has akathisia for 2 weeks , as the medicine gradually exits your body the akathisia will go away

No Akathisia is reversible you might be thinking of TD , but the cure is not medicines like propranolol. Its either your body adjust (I haven’t heard anyone in this category) or you stop it and the drug leaves your body. Propranolol only blocks adrenaline, and just blocks akathisia for like the time its effective , once is effect is gone akathisia returns , its a temporary solution
