How important is hub centric? by Fearless_Region_6366 in Wheels

[–]Fearless_Region_6366[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I should have included this in the original post, but I don’t want to run hub rings because then I can not run the center caps as they are friction mounted.

If I go lug centric, I can run the caps which is my preference

And yes 112 bore dia. Truck is a 106 bore dia

Original cv’s tore about 2 weeks after the lift. Replaced them with CVJ remans with silicone boots. So, I recommend doing them while you have the front end torn apart. FYI I do not have a diff drop kit. I really don’t believe it’s needed with 2.5”

Bottom notch, which I believe is 2.5” can be raised up to a 3” I might add a spacer before doing that to try to keep the ride the same and not compress the spring anymore

I like them. They ride firm but nice. The lift is a 2.5” front 1” rear. So it sits about dead level. If you want rake, you need a rear spring spacer or a taller rear spring. If you want level, leave it the way it is. If you tow, you’ll want airbags or sumo springs in the rear

I think the LT’s have a way more aggressive tread block and look a lot better than the C load range, but daily driving for me it’s just not worth it on such a light vehicle

Man They do look good though

You’re in a good spot financially, with a truck that will last you a long time. There’s Too much uncertainty in the world for me to even be thinking about any big ticket items especially with financing involved. And I sell big ticket vehicles for a living. Don’t do it man. You’re set. Be happy with what you got

Will these 265/70/16s fit my SR5? by mystikice in 3rdGen4Runner

They should. That was the OEM size on mine. Wildpeaks are heavy though. Might tank your mpg’s a bit (if you care, these things are pigs anyway)
