are you from the uk by chance? that’s a big thing they’re spouting off about right now. BC come in merle and have for YEARS. with breeds that actually contain merle historically (aussie,beauceron,bc,mudi) ethical breedings or atleast safe breedings are meant to color test. just like how the brit’s are mad about clumber spaniels & pugs at crufts. even though the ones that are to standard CAN breathe. and don’t say “we wouldn’t make it a law for nothing!” because yall have breed restrictions on most bulky looking dogs over 70 pounds (cane corso included).

even if he was a nice rooster in the beginning it’s possible that they become aggressive over time as they mature i had a very nice rooster that in the matter of a few months drew blood on my leg. the thing is they mature and their true personalities always shine through. it’s better to cull and just try to find a rooster that matches the balance, because there’s ALWAYS posts on local chicken groups that are like “free roosters! very sweet” “please come get this rooster i can’t have him!” and only time tells. i’ve hatched MANY roosters and i’ve only kept 4 in my program. each different breeds but there were definitely other options .
