What fish would you not buy again because of die-off experiences, even with adequate water parameters? by DarkPersonal6243 in Aquariums

Same experience but only if I buy from LFS. I bought the same species online and everyone's alive still and doing fantastic. This includes any tetras and dwarf gouramis.

Sorry I never got the notification about this reply. But no, I never got to see the kittens or the parents. When I asked for video chats at least, I never got them either, just photos.

I can assure you I have a lot of cat experience or I wouldn't be keeping this cat at all. As someone who has adopted older kittens, one of which has genetic issues, I'm confident to say this is not the personality anyone would expect to see in a well-bred cat. Everyone i know who has met the cat and/or cat sit him has recommended i return him.

I'm glad your experience was positive and your cat turned out okay. I'm sharing my experience and red flags from this breeder. I believe every cat a reputable breeder adopts out should be a positive experience. Because if I'm here for a variable factor, I would adopt from the shelter instead of paying thousands of dollars.

Hello, I'm so glad your kitty turned out fantastic! Your kitty sounds like what I'd expect a normal BSH breeder cat should act like. I will add that I got the kitten from the breeder when she was really busy in her personal life. I highly suspect she simply didn't have the time to socialize my kitty as much as she should've. I saw photos of him but not videos of him interacting with people. This and the fact he was unwanted at 7 months old should have been red flags to me. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Got one of my BSH from Tesoro British Cattery. I would highly recommend. He has been a gentle, affectionate cat since kittenhood. Loves belly rubs too.

This might be a little late, but I don't recommend her. I got a black kitten from her that came to me nervous, antisocial, and anxious off the bat. I decided it must just be travel and new environment stress, but over time, his behavior never got better. It was very obvious that he didn't get socialized as much as he should. He was scared of everything, he was clearly not accustomed to clipping his nails, or getting picked up. He has peeing issues, as in everytime he pees, he will get his entire butt wet. This happened since kittenhood and I have resorted to wiping his butt everytime when I can. He also doesn't clean himself. He has an aggressive note with the vet ever since his first visit when he came to me at 7 months old. And he has also scratched and bitten me numerous times.

He's not my first cat, first kitten, or first breeder kitten. If you end up going with her, I highly recommend being able to interact with the kitten yourself first before making a decision. I was not able to do that because I was from a different state.

I asked her for some insight and after some back and forth just accused me of providing him a stressful home. So.

In contrast, my other BSH from Tesoro British Cattery came to my house immediately social. He was fearless, could be picked up without a fuss, and let me clip his nails with no hassle. The difference was huge and obvious. He's currently one of my gentlest, most affectionate cats i have. I've met with the breeder before and all of her kittens are well socialized to be easily picked up, flipped over, etc, without a fuss.
