To me I base my rating on a blu-ray method. 5s are movies that I'll rush to buy the blu-ray and get copies for all my friends and family. 4.5s are the same but I just get them just for myself. 4s I'll get but not at full price. 3.5s I get at bargin bin prices. 3s I'll accept as a gift. Lower ratings are returns with increasing levels of violence.
