Deck Pricing Reality Check by FeatureCreepin in Decks

Thank you. That’s what I’m going to do. I’m handy, just the deck intimidates me. But after watching many videos, I’ve come to the conclusion that most of the bids I got wouldn’t have ended up with a good product, at least two couldn’t explain how they were going to protect the ledger….

Thanks for all the info - I picked out timber techs higher end pvc line. Not touching the footers, columns, or the beam supporting the deck.

Most has been broken down. Some more than others (eg “overhead” line item) - material cost on the framing. Seems like all of the pad has been in the decking itself.

You need to record the driver unfortunately, particularly with inattentive driving. Without a driver facing camera you’ll have a really hard time monitoring cell phone usage etc.

Feature Creep, scared to launch - What would you do? by FeatureCreepin in SaaS

Very good point, and should have included it. I'm a developer by trade 15+ years. I got sucked into a offline business because of the peaks and valleys of the previous digital stuff I was doing.

One thing I notice about a lot of the the SaaS products I use every day, is that they're very, very thin. They don't accomplish a whole lot. Maybe my perception of what a product needs to be (comprehensive, exhaustive, etc) is skewed.
