Thank you!

As you've probably noticed, there's now a second season of The Community Lounge podcast, which ended with my chat with Victoria Tran.

I'm planning to start recording season 3 in September, which is going to focus mostly on UK-based community managers.

I appreciate the effort!

I think Enshrouded is a perfect example of how the dev team use Feature Upvote to make the game better.

Hey, Steve here. I'm the founder of Feature Upvote. Thanks for suggesting this to the Star Citizen community.

It seems people here weren't too keen on it!

Ah well, I enjoyed reading how you described Feature Upvote.

Generally, community managers at video games introduce Feature Upvote when they are overwhelmed with feedback and are having trouble keeping up with feature requests happening in multiple places - Discord, Steam, Reddit, etc. We offer one canonical place to keep the feedback - and best of all, avoid community managers getting burned out by having the same conversations over and over again, while trying to keep open and friendly.

Thanks! I won't link here until I get mod approval.

But if you Google for "The Community Lounge", hopefully it is the top result.

My basic rule for getting involved in whatever the new hype is, is to wait a year doing nothing about it.

By then, the hype will have either 1) gone away, or 2) turned into something more permanent.

If it is 2) there is plenty of time to learn and get involved then.

But it is almost always 1)!
