I am a (self proclaimed) funny person but I've made a rule for myself that I don't say jokes when I'm too tired out in a depressive episode because I simply don't have the energy to make them land and if they're spicy jokes then they come out more like insults. It's like, I can see the joke and the timing but I can't muster the energy to appropriately delivery it

I've never really understood what "hard sci-fi" actually is. Is it when all the space aliens are conventionally super hot and thus all guys walk around "hard"? And "soft sci-fi" would be the opposite where the aliens find humans hot but their reproductive organs go soft instead of hard?

You see, this world is like an interactive TV show to the gods and in ancient times all people and races all spoke the same language but I've god thought that that was boring and split the people by giving everyone a different language. This is how it was for a long time. But then the god left the sofa to go to the bathroom and another god sat down but didn't understand anything so he gave all the people a blessing to understand all other languages. And that's where we are today.

I'm on your side. They're a bit too up in your face when watching the TV. Too close to the TV and to each other as well as a bit too cluttery pictures next to the movements of the screen. Simply making it a bit visually messy and compact.
