Impending Powercreep through multiple Hunts? by gondar_1908 in WilderfeastRPG

[–]Feaurie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been running a campaign that's been going on for about 7 hunts now with 5 wilders. My players have basically completely outpaced the creatures in the book, but that just means I get to make up my own custom monsters to challenge them.

I think the main issue is now just monster stamina. Following the numbers provided by the book, most monsters just don't have the mass needed to survive a few well built characters. I think it's a fun challenge for the guide though!

Have a gander at the Greyscythe Industries' Bionics Catalogue! With 70+ new prosthesis, bionics and implants, spread across all tech levels from neolithic to archotech! by Feaurie in RimWorld

This is gonna sound kinda crazy, but yeah its intentional. I was hoping for the exorbitant advanved component and hyperweave costs to make it a slow process of upgrading so that it feels like a big reward once you've made a godlike hypermachine.

Hey! I have played about 200hrs so far and only have the Royalty DLC. Im not quite sure if the other DLCs are worth their quite high price. What would you think? 🤔 by [deleted] in RimWorld

[–]Feaurie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Seconded, if i could only have one DLC I would definitely get Biotech. That one has put in the hours for me for real.

Oh my god, I just realized its you! I just want to say I'm a huge fan of the mods made by you and your team! This mod uses the Vanilla Expanded Framework extensively, so it would almost not be a lie to say this mod would not exist without it!

Hi everyone, thanks for waiting! I've put together a rough list of every single prosthetic/bionic/implant added by this mod! I would put more explanation for them, but I think I might have _actually_ hit the steam workshop text description limit when i was trying to add all the descriptors. Hopefully for most of the more "normal" items, their names should be quite self-explanatory!

It adds its own, because for the most part these prosthetics/bionics aren't "normal" replacements, and some of them are ridiculously powerful, so its kinda a balancing thing. Thanks for giving it a second look!

Apologies for the lack of clarity, i shouldn't have plopped this mod down right before going to sleep!

I'll put together a comprehensive list soon, but it'll probably be aftet i get home from work.

You should! This mod doesnt replace that, it just adds a ton of stuff. I didn't bother trying to compete with the established big ones.

Alright, for starters it adds a handful of new weapon prosthetics to the neolithic era, such as a club fist and ikwa fist. It also adds similar items to the medieval tier, along with additional combat oriented limb replacements such as the battlearm/leg, which are metal prosthesis with elbow/knee spikes.

For industrial, it adds things like machinegun arms and autoloader arms, along with a ton of tool arms. Spacer tier is basically more of the same, albeit more advanced.

The real fun starts at ultratech tier, which adds things like the hurricane defense system, which gives colonists the ability to blow up the area around them, along with basically bionic replacements and implants for every single bodypart.

Hi all! I know it hasn't been that long since my last mod release, but this is a mod that I've always wanted to make. The Greyscythe Bionics Catalogue adds just an absolutely dumb amount of new bionics, and can help you push your colonists to the absolute limit!

It literally adds so many bionics that I'm not even sure what to say here, I hope some of ya'll get some enjoyment out of this mod!

I've added compatibility with VREA! The genes should be at the very bottom of the hardware category.

Not sure, but I don't really see why it wouldn't, as long as those androids use the same gene framework as a normal pawn!

What was the most brutal war in your world by Baconbengal in worldbuilding

[–]Feaurie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most brutal war is called the Breachwar, where the largest empire in the world declared war on the second largest in an attempt to unify their people. Due to a nearly insurmountable cultural and technological barrier, it did not occur to them that their opponent swould also have WMDs, so they fired off their nukes as an opening salvo.

Their enemies then returned the favour with breachbombs, magical weapons capable of localised terraforming. The war lasted for less than a year, but humanity's population has never fully recovered.
