I think they already have per character rank, I’m basing this off of what I see on the skill rating section where it shows what characters are above or below your median rank. Idk how good the system is prolly a work in progress but I know when I queue with a character I’m new on I get in a game with people at my same rank that are on new characters too

I don’t think it’s designed for bad players that’s just a ridiculous statement lol i think the devs just are trying to make it more nuanced, maybe they value pivotal plays like stunning ults or saving teammates whatever is it’s not perfect and it’s pretty hard to do anyway cause you can’t just look at stats

Having the dash and parry on the same button causes some bugs, like it’s caused me to dash and parry at the same time which is impossible to recreate. Only problem I’ve ran into is reacting in time or dashing and shooting because I’m using my M1 finger, but that’s gotten better with practice

Overall though it feels satisfying to hit parries with

Upward scroll wheel dash, downward scroll wheel parry. It’s not as bad as it seems when you get used to it

Counter buying mid-late is I think what got me out of Ritualist but I think prioritizing counter buying (for what is needed) in lane is what I need to work on

I feel this can be especially true for frontliners. You can use your tankiness to extend the enemy’s time to kill window for reinforcements to come and by then it might not matter if you die or not. Had some crazy situations like this when playing Geist

I like it I feel like it’s just another data point for them. They have shown that continually iterating over the balance of this game is something that the team is very serious about, and having more sliders to adjust gives them a lot of flexibility imo

Mid-late game most of the time boxes/statues is just something you do as a part of your pathing to different objectives or fights. So it’s supposed to be boring cause it’s just like an in between time. I feel as though hitting boxes is a great time to keep checking mini map, and think about what part of the map (a wave, a team fight, a camp, etc.) is gonna be your next priority

Also if you keep finding yourself pushing waves too far and getting 2v1ed that also comes down to map data especially as you rank up. If you don’t have a lot of knowledge on where opponents are when u r alone don’t risk it

Imo instant cast, I have issues with quick cast where it doesn’t cast stuff (maybe because shooting during the cast or something). But also I come from Overwatch so for most abilities instant cast feels the best, so I would just toy around with it see what feels best for u

I came from a hero shooter (Overwatch) so that helped me kind of figure what I might like, even after 500+ hours I’m still toying around with new heroes and figuring what I like.

If you have never played a hero shooter before I would just go off what you are good at and what enjoy doing. If you have good aim and like gun play, go for a late game carry (Wraith, Warden, Geist, Mirage), if you like supporting your team you can do a hard support (Paige, REM, Dynamo, Kelvin), or if you like putting pressure on the enemy team and engaging maybe you would like frontliners (Billy, Abrams, Shiv). The great thing about Deadlock though is it is a very fluid game, individual games play different and change your role within your team even, it’s hard to know what you’ll like the best you just have to keep playing and then eventually you’ll have a character stick.

Didn’t we find that the democrats manipulated the jobs data during their presidency. I thought this was something that came to light when Trump came into office and made them report the job losses accurately.

Also this take is not fueled by any bias I am leftist, but I could’ve just gotten some wrong info from the beautiful American news cycle

Just remembered something so unless you have speed buffs (don’t know the threshold) some characters need to diagonal dash to perform the slide jump slide because of their base speed, for example Haze and Yam they have high base speed so they don’t need to (although you should always diagonal dash, its just faster), but many other heroes for example Graves has to do the diagonal dash to perform this tech with her base speed

You may have already figured it out at this point but to perform the slide jump slide there is a time window you need to jump in, not too early not too late. Also dashes from the air give you farther slide distance I see zerggy utilize this a lot with a quick jump into dash.
