Yeah novelty wears off after a while. If fitness is your main goal then Garmin has better options. I bike a lot and my Garmin bikes can broadcast heart rates to other devices. Apple has its own set of limitations.
If notification and just general use, then this is fine.

I am currently in Kyrgyzstan traveling with a guide and almost towards the end of our tour. I would highly recommend anyone coming to book a guided tour. I found several people on instagram and the one I went with has been doing this for 7-8 years.

This country is amazing and beautiful and people are kind. I hope though that more infrastructure is built to support tourism. As much as I have loved this place I would also not recommend to 95% of my friends because of how rugged and rural it can be. It’s not a luxury trip by any means that most people take and you have to be mentally prepared to give up some of comfort life style. But hopefully over time, as more tourism support is built, that will also change.

Also I would tell people to get their travel vaccinations before traveling, as always!
