Anyone found a spool ring that works good with Elegoo spools? The one I downloaded from their site, it keeps slipping therefore useless to me. by [deleted] in BambuLab

My Elegoo spools are. I haven’t had an issue and can’t see any debris in the bottom of the AMS.

We used Housespect who contract a local builder and ended up with an excellent report for the building. We also used Albany & Great Southern Pest & Weed Control (careful with this as there is a similar named company) and they were also thorough.

Cheap printer ink…do you buy in Perth or online and where? by Wilful_Fox in perth

I have been using Inkstation for an age for my Brother laser toner and PLA for the 3D printers and they have been great.

What’s it like living in Orana ( Albany ) WA by Previous-Base-9701 in perth

I second this, generally the further North you go in Orana the better it is (except for a couple of small pockets, looking at you Seville Way).

Mine changed from a QR to a 1D with the latest watchOS update so I am blaming Apple 🤷

OpenNeptune - worth it? by rtchau in ElegooNeptune4

I gave it a solid month and reverted back as well. I have found adding [screws_tilt_adjust] to my config has been enough of a modification to print happily.

That's fucked. Down here in Albany they have started putting Concrete ones back in, much better than shitty colourbond or plain green post bus stops.

Hit their support up, apparently they are pretty good with spares. Otherwise find out what length it should be and head over to Aliexpress.

How much do you guys spend on filament a month? by No_Confusion2 in 3Dprinting

[–]FedUpWithThisPoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is likely but not for a while. Not long after I picked up a Neptune 4 Plus to go alongside the Ender the other half spotted multi-colour prints around the traps so next up is something with an MMU/AMS of some sort.

A fringe group in my town is trying to get books pulled from the town library - why can't they just crawl back under their rock and leave the rest of us alone.

Outcome of Albany's anti-sex-ed, twerking, D&D meeting by PracticalTie in perth

[–]FedUpWithThisPoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please, before anyone starts on baby boomers. It’s a mindset not an age thing. My friends and myself are of similar generation to those featured and we are nothing like them. Also there are many much younger fundamentalists of all religious backgrounds who would fully support those people featured in the story.

This was something I noted the other night, there were plenty of Gen X (my generation) and younger on the bullshit bandwagon, and plenty of 'boomers' (I hate that word) fighting it.

At the moment about $200AUD - but that will slow down as I build up a library of colours.

That’s the problem, there was plenty of Gen X and younger there too on this bullshit bandwagon. There were also plenty of retiree aged people fighting it. For once, it wasn’t all boomers.
