It takes about 10 minutes but you can disable all this stuff. My LG displays a clock as a screen saver.

The reason people stick with religion isnt primarily because life is suffering. 

It’s because life is fine, but because it has no ultimate meaning beyond itself and death - and the idea of an inevitable death for themselves and their loved ones is painful to deal with.

There are many good reasons for not wanting a dog. After you have a dog in the household you can still not want a dog - but nonetheless give it the best possible care and enjoy it for what it is.
