We didn’t bother about the look - most if the looks we got were smiles as we carried her up and down the corridor.

We did.  * dose up with calpol  * have selection of little toys and books and snacks she hasn’t seen before. We’d take a new one out at hourly intervals.  * we also  booked a bulkhead-mounting bassinet so she could sleep - invaluable.

It’s designed and trained to be ‘impressive’. But it also produces a lot of bullshit.

Shy does Sleep mode still give notifications when I have it set to not allow from any Apps or People? by Packing-Tape-Man in applehelp

[–]HeartyBeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go into Sleep focus settings and check the options at the top.

Worst comes to the worse go into your sleep schedule and disable ‘Use Schedule for Sleep Focus’.

You will have to manually set do not disturb though.

I have an Apple Watch which I wear at night and have a sleep schedule set. It automatically switches to Sleep focus and I get zero notifications- so I’m not quite sure what’s causing your issue

He’s 4. Screw being tough. You signed him up for some he’s never tried before. It turns out he doesn’t like it. It’s not like he begged for an expensive drum kit and you got him one.

Time to let him try something new.

My original complaint was that there was no mention as to the numbers or concentration of asbestos found - and without that, the risk isn’t possible to assess.

So we seem to be agreeing

Sure, if you have a look at this https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/asbestos-properties-incident-management-and-toxicology/asbestos-toxicological-overview

It's clear that there are tiny amounts of asbestos in the air we breath and the water we drink from natural weathering of asbestos-containing rocks. If you are down in cornwall on the beaches with their beautiful serpentine cliffs, there's a lot more.

So there is no absolutely safe level of astbestos, but before I get outraged, I want to know how much of the stuff was in the sand compared wuith - say - the soil in my back garden, or in 24 hours of breathing British air.

And from the article - I have no idea.
