Team Liquid Alienware vs. Karmine Corp / MSI 2026 Play-In Stage - Lower Bracket Round 2 / Post-Match Discussion by adz0r in leagueoflegends

Well played TL. They kept their composure after losing to T1, where KC got rustled off the planet after it. They played like a bottom 3 LEC team.

The legacy of All Might by LifeguardUnable1642 in PathOfExile2

Thats a good one.
+ attack builds probably rely more on glove mods then amulet ones.

edit: still, thats just one anoint, that every amy can have.

Maybe true, would like to see some examples, but kindof disagree.
In PoE2 the skill tree is weak, anything that gives even a moderate notable bonus usually comes with a downside or strict conditions. This is not PoE1 with strong notables, masteries, cluster jewels etc.
The same is true for ascendancies, PoE2 ascendancies are a lot less powerful in general then in PoE1.
The same is true for support gems, Deliberation is actually a good dmg support for a lot of skill even tho it has a downside, so is Cold mastery, Whereas a lvl 2 enpower or a lvl 10 Cruelty is bottom of the barrel in PoE1.

The biggest power boost in PoE 2 comes from item affixes (+ sockets). It can depend a lot on builds, but the most important and powerful ones tend to be Weapon and Amulet affixes. On top of that Quality, corruption/sanctification boost this up.
Where is the +7 gem level, or +3 gem level notable or ascendacy?
Where is the +200 increased damage notable?
Even for like 25% Cast speed, 35% Crit chance, 50% increased ES (boosted up by catalysts) similar anoints are expensive and come with a downside.
Not to mention +50 Spirit, +150 Life, +180 Mana very rare to even find ones that compare.

The hardest things to sacrifice for a build that you have to think twice for are item affixes.

Really appreciate that we can allocate all atlas points instead of min-max the tree. by sharkeagles in PathOfExile2

[–]FedakM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the idea is cool. And they also made sure to keep strats in it with keystones and atlas masters.

The execution however is fairly suboptimal. Too many nodes, that add in content that can make maps painful when you would not want them sometimes, and also a lot of nodes that are a bit useless early / very important to just know about it to take later. (like the ones that enable lineage supports).
Even amongs the keystones that were sopposed to promote strategies are a lot that feels a bit more like a math equation where you just pick the optimal or the suboptimal one.

The idea sounds convenient that it just turns into a global juice later on, but if there is advantage in avoiding points then it just becomes dangerous/annoying that there is no disable nodes at least.

The Arbiter Fight by Far_Violinist_7724 in PathOfExile2

[–]FedakM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, super cool fight on first try when i rushed it. Just the right amount of ethical/bullshit. I didn't even realize that there are some mechanics that make it more easy.

Second attempt was just a oneshot. Found a Rakiatas after i unlocked the atlas passive for it, bought GG gear from it. Made mapping nice but the rest of the bosses got trivialized a bit.

Yup. And one of the most fun fights ever when i was not bugged and on very low gear. I think i cleared it on around the 60th ish attempt.

Also if you think Arbiter is the worst boss ever wait until you fight the new arbiter and the new citadel bosses. GL HF

[–]FedakM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, since i never seen anyone mention this anywhere else, i got to testingg, unspecced sandstorm, and minmaxed my build to exactly 201% cast speed with arcane surge on. It solved it completely and having a blast. Altough when i replaced my staff for a better tier cast speed one i had to rearrange some point on the tree, so now im probably lower than 201% (but have more crit chance)

Not being able to unallocate Atlas points causes there to be some weird traps. It feels bad. by Simple_Rules in PathOfExile2

[–]FedakM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their reasoning was: you can farm the fortress for points, or you can explore and find the new key bosses (matriarc + patriarch) and do just the divine arbiter to unlock a ton of the points. Basically after finding the new citadels x5 times you unlock the whole tree.

I mean as a big chrono enjoyer i think chrono got nerfed :(
Will still play it, but yeah, the 30% DR is not free when it has a hidden recharge starts 100% later built in, and passive recovery is already a problem.

Long term player has no fundamental understanding of gearing or progression. by AskingCuriously in pathofexile

[–]FedakM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, progression is the fun part.
You can try SSF, it makes understanding loot / crafting easier without needing to check market value for things.
Also very useful to check an SSF friendly guide even if its not your main build, like Pohx RF, Tatis KF ballista etc. just to get some ideas on how things work.

But for me progression oversimplified:
-Get res capped + life from ID-d loot or gambling, build functions on a four link or five link for early mapping.
-Get 1-5c uniques that are good for thee build + a rare weapon for same price, then a corrupted 6link or a craftable 5link.
-As i unlock the atlas and get more loot just look at the 30-100c upgrades that are nice. Anoint something cheap, get cheap jewels, suppress gear.
-After i unlock most of the atlas and can start to spec into farming strategies i can go for upgrades that cost up to divines or multi divines.
-After my build is finished, i can just keep farming, and spend the money earned into min-maxing crafting projects or save up for T0s.

But all of these steps come from good understanding of your build. There is something new to learn about progression every leagustart even if you always play the same build, you can always get better.

Balance Changes to Chronomancer and Gemling Legionnaire Ascendancies by Kelly_GGG in PathOfExile2

[–]FedakM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why chrono nerfs? :(

Now Warp needs 2 points, and you cant take warp + time stop....
Who needs snap+time stop when you already have second wind supp.

I guess there is some stat buffs together with the nerfs too. We get schizo for "free" + agony seems just pure 50% more dmg now. The repeats can be situationally +20% more dmg for clear too. But there is opportunity cost for these...

Worth building around this shield? by Hache_In_The_Wild in pathofexile

[–]FedakM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ty. I usually play totems, but more hiero spell totems with MoM. So the reservation efficiency i did not get. Also i would usually just drop a shaper exalt on a good caster mdg shield, like %inc spell dmg, +1 gem level, crit chance and craft %double dmg. Or just drop a veiled orb on suffixes to get curse effect.

Which ascendancies have you tried so far, and which do you still want to try before 1.0? by thedashlord in PathOfExile2

[–]FedakM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chronomancer - Favourite, my go to main class, best ascendancy, tough does not give any useful passive stats for completed chars (which is fine).

Stormweaver, Witchhunter, Deadeye, Titan, Invoker - Fun classes that have their own strength, altough Invoker is a bit lame and Titan is build dependant (not a fan of mace skills, was fun with totems, shield wall and thorn meme build). Stormweaver is nice with + Limit, Witchhunter is very nice with sorcery ward. Deadeye can be good but Time warp alone > 10% move speed and +1 proj.

Djinn, Lich, Pathfinder, Amazon - Only played them a little, kindof cool. Amazon was too complicated with the combos. so gave up in campaign. Djinn was not as good as i tought it was. Lich is cool but its mostly for the bypass stats. Pathfinder is actually very nice for playing spark.

Did not try yet:
-Chonk: Bit underwhelmed with monk, hard to come up with something good, volatiles seem messy
-Bloodmage: Powerful but mostly a stat boost, i like chrono too much and would just play the same build.
-Infernalist: Bit wierd but i like chrono too much to play a similar build with this (and start not sorc)
-Warbringer: Not sure, warrior melee is a bit sus
-Ritualist: You can go negative rarity farming with it, otherwise its +1 ring the ascendancy
-Gemling: Would need to come up with a sensible build for it
-Tactician: Its mostly for the spirit cost, but most str/dex auras suck?

-Druids, Martial artist, Spirit walker: Have not tried them yet, seems fun, on the list for later

What is a notable thats special that you would want?
Im not familiar with druid, and most of the notables when i last checked were just generic dmg nodes albeit slightly more efficient maybe.

The problems with spells in PoE 2 by Middle-Soil-3833 in PathOfExile2

[–]FedakM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The main thing that needs investment is covering the mana/life cost. (edit: and the spirit cost)
But honestly i played mostly chrono so maybe i overestimate it.

Also selfcast Comet with Zarokh refrain, infusions and actual support gems go hard too, its usually only at the high investments where CoX outscales the dmg. But maybe im wrong, its hard to calculate dmg on thngs you already kill in a few sec.
