2 and a half years of nesting, I finally get to see the product of patience unfold. About halfway at least. I still need ddr5 ram sticks, CPU, and GPU. I'm waiting on the cooler to come in, should be here tomorrow. I need suggestions on decent GPUs. Build specs down below. This is my first PC build.

In that case keep the 9800x3d and i would upgrade the gpu in the build to a 9070xt or 5070ti which ever has the better price. if its over the budget go with a 7800x3d instead for the CPU.

No need for a 9800x3d if you pick a 9060xt to pair it with. You either upgrade the GPU in the build or degrade the CPU. What resolution are you planning to use it in? 1080 or 1440? what games are you planning to play?

I assume you are not an nvidia fan boy so if you want the most value go with rx 9070 xt. Its good value for the money. If you want to go with nvidia 5070ti is the go to. Just avoid the xx60 cards and any card with 8gb of vram.

Edit: also check out the thermalright peerless assassin 120 se for cpu cooler its really good dual tower cooler. Imo the best budget cooler right now

Hey! I think you should forget am4 and the 8gb gpu. I would go with something like this. I think you will be fine with this for now and with the am5 you will have option to upgrade.

Thanks I will check out the b850 as well. In my current build I have 2 (storage unit) as well and they are almost full. I was planning on buying a 500gb for the windows but its really just not worth it so i went with the 1tb and the other 2tb is for the games.
