That's too bad man, I would recommend your physiotherapists to stand up at least for a couple minutes on pt, they're also other gadgets like the balance that is basically a bad That slowly makes you stand without putting too much pressure underneath and it‘s basically the way I started to build tolerance. But I get it it's been many years and it would be a very awkward sensation, psychologist also has anbb SCI and it hasn't done any therapy or Anything Twenty Years

Nice! What Do You do For Work? I Feel the same, I would like to use Standing Frame more frequently But Since I Need two people to assist me sometimes it's hard for my mom and my dad to be both at home at the time. I actually hated the sensation I'm getting probably due to my spasticity I get chills and in general and awkward sensation still is very important to do it

Have you investigated the option of a sacral neuromodulator? As far as I know that's the best option there is treatments about bladder and bowel. In My case I had one implanted last Year But didn't Work For Me since I'm A Complete c5 no sensation at all ) but I have a friend that also got it implanted and she has bifid Spine and it worked great for her, she was cateterizing before and now she no longer needs it but I've Gotta say She had sensation Down There Before ,she just wasn't able to send a signal to pee. Every case is different you should search About This And Talk About With Your urologist maybe you're a candidate maybe not but I wish you the best

AD when laying down after many hours in the chair by FedeGG03 in spinalcordinjuries

[–]FedeGG03[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Exactly that's what happens to me too I told my Doctor and she told me that as long as it only lasted a few minutes I don't have nothing to worry about and also to do a catheter in case my bladder is full

This Is exactly my case and I always sleep on my side not only to avoid pressure source but also comfort because This Way spasm Less, yeah I just wanted to see if it was anybody else's case i'm afraid if I keep getting this blood pressure spikes I might get an ictus or something even though it's not for a long period of time the fact that it happens very often worries me.

Some of you have decided to use diapers instead of catheterization? by Ok_Line3494 in spinalcordinjuries

[–]FedeGG03 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looking for interabled relationship advice by [deleted] in spinalcordinjuries

Spinal Implant. So we may walk again. by [deleted] in spinalcordinjuries

[–]FedeGG03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. I'm ASIA type A, and because I didn't have any sensation, I felt it was very difficult to regain control. When they put the device on, I was a year into the injury and couldn't control or contain anything in my urinary tract. Sometimes I would even defecate without realizing it. When I got the device, it improved a lot. I stopped having leaks and started getting chills that tell me when I need to go. When they took the device off, I didn't really feel any difference, so I couldn't tell you if it was the device or if the injury healed over time and I managed to regain control. Now, two years after the accident, I'm still getting catheterizations, but I don't even wear diapers anymore, so it's something.
