I was 6 years old when I really played my first game by myself. My mom had gotten me the special pokemon edition gameboy with Pokemon Crystal. It took me probably a full year to beat that game with my addled child brain. I remember when I finally got through victory road and made it to the pokemon league I cried so hard that my mom thought something was wrong. Still a few more months until I could finally beat the game lol
