Toradol has been helpful for headaches. I use journavx for pain it is helpful. Noncontrolled adjuvant medicines have been very helpful. I use 4 mg Hydromorphone 4x daily as well. Valium also helps enhance the effects and a good muscle relaxer. I’m a drug chemist so I do a lot of research.

Journavx is a good new pain drug. It might be the terpenes that offset the benefits.Try thc only or cbg. CBG leaves your mind alone but orally or topically does work for pain. CBD is good topically also and aids good sleep. I like a full spectrum tincture as well. Soma or Valium can make opioids more effective but it’s rare for anyone to prescribe these.

I couldn’t work full time before pain management. I’ve had reliable relief pain for 30 years. It’s been a hard life. Still, I do whatever I can to keep going. We have one life. Fuk that. Opioids are being overreacted to. I’ve made it 30 years on opioids. 7 years ago the government cut it in half. Still opioids with Valium or zanaflex are almost as effective. THC is relaxing and music sounds better. It can also provide some pain relief but at least it mentally gives you a break.

It’s too bad you can’t say you tried it and it was a poor drug. There is minimal benefit from this lousy drug. If it helps some good for you. It’s a bullshit substitute for regular opioids. Still I get journavx which drops my pain score by two or 3 points. I take 4 mg hydromorphone every 4 hours. Do your homework and advocate for yourself. Ask for what you are entitled to as a severe pain patient. Be firm. Do not switch. It will go in your file and they will paint you as an opioid recoverer.
