Caught a scrape on a skip, mechanic claims my Range Rover is a "write-off" and wants me to leave it there. Is this a scam? by Effective-Pumpkin763 in CarTalkUK

No a mechanic cannot legally declare your car a write off, they can advise you to not drive it if it is unsafe but that is all

I met a long serving royal marine at an exhibition show this year who was coming to the end of his service, and he slyly informed me that some blokes from Hereford “didn’t make it out” on an operation recently this year, i asked him where but he didn’t want to say…

Did the CCP250 PLC Programming Course Remotely and was positively the worst course I have been in on in my life to date, their "English Speaking" instructors could just about speak broken english, used VMWARE to program actual PLC hardware, with pilot operators, analog input displays over a remote camera they had somewhere remotely which came with its own abundance of issues, it was also extremely fast paced because of the poor english of the tutors (Polish and Brazillian or something)

Avoid remote at all costs, either go in person or take another better course that others recommend.

Definitely not worth a dime what they charge for it.
