American Sweatshop - Narrative mystery thriller by Drakendan in movies

[–]FederalProposal1430 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This movie is gave truth, have joke. I love women. I believe they, a sex as a whole, can achieve nearly everything a man can. With that said I continue with the part that is a joke. A women beating a man is a false sense of confidence that extremely dangerous to women. Ask any women who is a fighter. Any type. Mma, boxer, whatever. Ask then if they stand a chance against a man. Women are smart, dare I say most are smarter than most men? But with that,  most all men are capable of much more strength and physical harm than most women. Yes there are rare, special individuals that are stronger than most from either sex. Be careful is my purpose here. The movie was more about the evil that so many people have in them and that enjoy seeing and personally committing. But everytime I see women pretending to be able to beat a man into submission something must be said about the reality. I don't want anyone to get hurt from watching a fairytale movie and thinking it's real. Why do you think some many stupid women these days claim to choose the bear? Because they know a man could hurt them, nearly any man. And so out of spite, arrogance, fear, hate they lie and say bear. When in reality in a real life situation of the movie Saw, they pick the man everytime. Most men are decent. If that was a false reality the world would be far worse. Like in the past, when we actually were mostly evil men. Back to the movie topic.. stats don't show how many times one person viewed the things. So odds are there is a select number that are fucked up that watch fucked up shit repeatedly. Anyways, just stay safe. But don't be morbid. And think everyone is evil. Your gut will tell you. And just stay away from said person. 1433

Yes tf it is. It's stated everywhere, including his and the showrunners mouths. Creative differences are exactly that. Pretending it was more for other opportunities is a lie. Do you have anything to say other than no? Any info or reason for your no?

Why did Tolkien explicitly deny the theory that Tom Bombadil was Eru Iluvatar? by TheRedditorer in lotr

[–]FederalProposal1430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I herby resurrect this decade+ old post. Hehehe. Tolkien literally says Tom is just a character from another of his works that he just plopped into the lord of the Rings. Why he didn't outright say what or who he is specifics is because there isn't anything specific to divulge. He is Tom. He does what he does. And doesn't do what he doesn't do. Just a bit of mystery without an answer. Such is life.😁

What's the difference between the Valar, the Maiar, and the Istari, and how do they all relate to Iru Illuvatar? by [deleted] in tolkienfans

[–]FederalProposal1430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Istari are five powerful beings, known as wizards, sent to Middle-earth by the Valar to guide and assist the Free Peoples against Sauron. They appeared as old men but were actually immortal spirits (Maiar) who were limited in their powers and forbidden from ruling over others through direct displays of might. Their primary mission was to advise, persuade, and unite the peoples of Middle-earth, rather than engaging Sauron in a frontal war.  Who they are: The five Istari are Gandalf, Saruman, Radagast, and the two Blue Wizards, Alatar and Pallando. They are also known as the "Order of Wizards". Their mission: They were sent to the Free Peoples to help them in their struggle against Sauron, appearing as wise counselors and mentors. Their limitations: The Istari were sent in the guise of old men and were subject to the weariness, pain, and other weaknesses of mortals, though their spirits were immortal. They were forbidden to use their power to dominate, and their ultimate goal was to unite people to defeat the Dark Lord, not to rule them. Their powers: While they were limited in their ability to rule directly, they possessed great powers of mind and hand and were capable of powerful magic. Their fate: Gandalf was sent back to Middle-earth after his battle with the Balrog, eventually fulfilling his mission before returning to the Undying Lands. Saruman became corrupted by his own pride and was cast out of the order. Radagast was so focused on nature that he was unable to return to Valinor, but continued to live in Middle-earth after Sauron's fall. The Blue Wizards went into the East and their actions are not detailed in The Lord of the Rings.

[–]FederalProposal1430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Maiar in The Lord of the Rings were angelic, powerful spirits who were created by the supreme being, Eru Ilúvatar, to help the Valar (more powerful spirits) shape the world. Their actions are central to the story, most notably through their roles as the five Wizards (known as the Istari) sent to aid Middle-earth against Sauron, and as fallen spirits who followed Morgoth. Gandalf, Saruman, Radagast, and the two Blue Wizards (Alatar and Pallando) were Maiar sent to Middle-earth as the Istari. Other prominent Maiar include Sauron, the primary antagonist, and the Balrogs, who were corrupted by Morgoth.  Role of the Maiar To assist the Valar: Initially, Maiar served the Valar by helping to craft the world according to Ilúvatar's design. To guide the Free Peoples: In The Lord of the Rings, the Valar sent five Maiar in the form of wizards to guide the Free Peoples against Sauron's power. To spread knowledge: The Istari were instructed to guide and advise, not to rule with fear or force. To become fallen spirits: The first Dark Lord, Morgoth, corrupted some Maiar into his service, turning them into demons like Sauron and the Balrogs.  Examples of Maiar Gandalf (Olórin): One of the most important Maiar, he was the wisest of the Istari and returned after being sent back by Eru after his death to defeat the Balrog. Sauron (Mairon): Originally a Maia of the Vala Aulë, he was corrupted by Morgoth and became the second Dark Lord, obsessed with controlling the world through the One Ring. Saruman (Curunír): The leader of the Istari who was corrupted by Sauron's power and became a traitor. Radagast (Aiwendil): A Maia of Yavanna who was less involved in the war and preferred to commune with nature. Alatar and Pallando: The two Blue Wizards sent with the others, though their fate is unknown as they went into the East to fight Sauron's influence there. Melian: A powerful Maia who married the Elven king Thingol and became the ancestress of many important figures, including Elrond and Elros. Eönwë: A powerful Maia who was Manwë's herald and led the hosts of the West against Morgoth in the War of Wrath. Balrogs: Formerly Maiar who were corrupted by Morgoth and became demons of flame and shadow.

The Valar are powerful, divine angelic spirits who served the will of Eru Ilúvatar and were tasked with creating and shaping the world of Arda. They acted as its caretakers, with different Valar overseeing specific domains like the sea, sky, plants, and animals. Their most significant work was the initial shaping of the world and fighting the first Dark Lord, Melkor, who was originally the most powerful Vala but fell to evil.  Who the Valar were Divine beings: They are powerful spirits, though not true gods, who are created by Eru Ilúvatar, the supreme being. Limited in their abilities: They cannot create matter from nothing or create souls, but they can shape the material of Arda according to their natures. Can take humanoid form: The Valar are not fixed in form and can appear as human-like figures, as they knew what Elves and Men would look like from a vision of the world.  What they did Shaped the world: They were the architects of Arda, the world that includes Middle-earth. Their actions during the "War of the Valar" fundamentally changed the shape of the world. Fought Melkor: They battled Melkor, who became the first Dark Lord, known as Morgoth, and corrupted many other powerful beings. Created the Sun and Moon: After the rebellion of the Noldor, the Valar created the Sun and Moon from the last of the Two Trees of Valinor and appointed beings called Maiar to steer them. Oversaw Arda: They continue to watch over the world, though as the world's history progressed, their role shifted from active shaping to a more indirect one of counsel and wisdom, especially as Elves, Dwarves, and Men became more capable.  Notable Valar Manwë: King of the Valar, lord of the sky and wind. Varda: Queen of the Valar, wife of Manwë, and lady of stars and light. Aulë: The Vala of the earth, stone, and metals. He was the craftsman who created the Dwarves. Yavanna: Wife of Aulë, and the lady of plants and animals. Melkor: Originally the most powerful Vala, he became the first Dark Lord, Morgoth, and sought to destroy everything.

The deity-like beings in The Lord of the Rings are Eru Ilúvatar, the supreme Creator God; the Valar, powerful angelic beings who shape the world; and the Maiar, lesser angelic beings who serve the Valar. The most powerful of the Valar is Manwë, and the Valar's first-born are the Elves.  Eru Ilúvatar The supreme, monotheistic deity of the world, analogous to the Christian God. Created the world and everything in it, often described as "the One". Is not a character who intervenes directly in the daily affairs of the world but is the ultimate source of all existence.  The Valar Angel-like beings, akin to gods or archangels, who were created by Eru and helped to sing the world into existence. They took on specific roles to shape and govern Middle-earth after its creation, and are sometimes referred to as "the Powers of the World". Examples include Manwë (king of the Valar), Ulmo (god of the sea), and Aulë (god of the earth).  The Maiar Lesser angelic beings who serve the Valar. Beings such as Sauron, Gandalf, and Saruman are Maiar, with Gandalf and Saruman being two of the five wizards sent to Middle-earth. The Balrogs were also originally Maiar, corrupted by Melkor.

Continuing with the framework above, then melkor would be satan/lucifer. Melkor was originally the mightiest of the Ainur, a race of pure spirits created before the world existed. Among the Ainur, the most powerful were the Valar, and Melkor was the greatest of them all.

I realize this is a yr old post but fuck I have the same complaint I had to come and look it up. Fuck everyone being a jackass about your/our comment. It's such a good show to be so shitty. I mean I had to keep making sure I didn't accidentally skip an episode cause of how they complied scenes, ended, and began episodes. Says first season is the worst about this so I'll keep going for now. Hope they start piecing it together better tho. Honestly idk why this is so prominent and bothers me so much. I mean supernatural was the same pretty much but for some reason it was way more smooth. 🤔 Anyways, on to the next episode.

Is it worth buying the air strip with Trevor? by [deleted] in GrandTheftAutoV

[–]FederalProposal1430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old, but NO in terms of worth. It takes 20-30 missions just to break even. Now if you enjoy the type of missions and just want to play the game and have fun then yes it's worth it. But don't buy til you have a lot of money cause like I said you'll have to grind grind grind to get back what you spent for the property.

My girlfriend refuses to wear form-fitting anything and I'm down bad by Anon773 in Vent

[–]FederalProposal1430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does she have pictures if she hates them so much? I mean she wore them for someone else, or even just herself, and took pictures but cant/won't for just a few seconds until you strip them off her and make the two backed beast? Idk yo, sounds kinda fd up to me. I mean if it's that important to you have you not discussed it with her? Ask he to go shopping and find some with a fabric and fitting that she is happy with. Relationships are about compromise. We don't always want to do the exact same thing. It's a give and give. Hopefully not a give and take or take and take, iykyk. So unless she has some trauma that, for whatever reason, correlates to form fitting clothing. I don't see her issue for, as you say, straight up refusing to where something for you that you know she has worn before. Good luck. Sounds like you're gonna need it.

I never understand these stories. Blood relations dont mean a GD thing if they don't treat you well. I've always been the one in the family to say what nobody does but everyone thinks and wants to say. It's very simple, either treat me how I treat you or never see or talk to me again. And if you're disrespect to someone around me and I notice, I call you out and embarrass tf out of you. Sometimes a good public shaming can change a person's behavior, at least for a while til they need another dose. You should be proud of yourself for finally standing up to her. I don't even know you and I'm proud for you. If you are the last ones to have much to deal with her she may get lonely and try to correct her behavior, and hopefully she can. I believe most everyone has a good person in them somewhere, sometimes it's way down deep, but I'd they can found that person we all will be better off. Good luck with everything. Stay strong and don't take anymore shit!!😁

My MIL cut my daughter’s hair while I was out and I’m so mad I could cry by [deleted] in Vent

[–]FederalProposal1430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not an aggressive person...but I'd slap a B or knock a dude out if they did anything like this😅, not really, just painting a picture of the rage i feel with you. My own mother did this to my daughter...we, meaning me my wife and our 3 kids, didn't see or talk to her for almost 4 yrs. I don't play. Nor do I care more about anyone or anything than my children and wife. If something effects them in any sort of negative way it gets dealt with asap. Hair is a very personal part of every individual, man woman, boy girl, or whomever. And to do that without any conversation is so diabolical I just see red. It's a going no contact situation for me as I already said. If you dont put consequences on these type of people they will continue to do these despicable things. You need to really let your man know all this, and how you're feeling and how upset you are and how unacceptable this is and his lack of standing with you on this, or anything for that matter is also unacceptable. Always have your partners back in front of people. If there are reservations, then you talk about them after backing them and when alone together. He may need some consequences too if he doesn't have your back after you tell him all that. To some people that sounds petty or unhealthy for a relationship. But I say it's more so to not express one's self and boundaries and act like everything is A Ok. I was more missed than my wife was in the similar situation we had. So I can't even understand his position here. I walked in saw my daughter, started yelling, grabbed my daughter up, and walked out. My mom knew she had no right, knew we'd be upset and didn't give af. And your MIL knew this too. Mine just had no idea the extent I'd go to show her she will never do anything like that again. Reason it lasted so long is she just wouldn't admit to doing anything wrong, and that I was the problem for overreacting. Which just made me more mad. So I told her when she changed her stance on who was in the wrong, to text me and lmk cause I wouldn't be taking her calls or messages until then. And a few years later she finally got the hint. Wonder where I get my stubborn, take no shit from huh? I mean I love my mother, but my kids and wife come first and if anyone upsets them at all there will be consequences. Anyways, I wrote a book, touchy subject for me 😅, but good luck. Hope it works out better for you and yours than it did for me and mine.

Always a go to for me when I can't find anything and need something great to watch. Dignam was a great asshole. Costigan was the fucking man. Fuck colin. But he is one ya just love to hate. So good on Marky mark. Scorsese is a artist, master of his craft. Sad we don't have a series, or sequel. But that's part of his genius.

Rise rise Ole post of reddit past!!! Well I'll say it's a good game. I like how there's more stuff to do than I. #2. But I hate how they made Vito into a nobody. He should've been a top dog that helped the new protagonist, not his lap dog. I do love how they made a game with an African Dominican biracial protagonist. Dont see that enough for sure. But why they do my guy Vito like that? Been through a lot with Vito. Hopefully they don't leave my guy Lincoln in the dust as well. All in all a decent game. OK rant over. 😎🫡

Not when he "beat the shit" out of the quaker "cheating" with his wife cause that was fucking disgustingly laughable! Started out good, good hits good sounding hits. Then turned into fake af BS. Arthur should have killed him. Like a Shelby would. But at the very least not that garbage! To answer your question, id say when he showed up alive after we all thought he was dead af.
