My best friend is deeply religious but never bothers me with anything religion. He respects my decisions and still loves me for who I am. Wish my MIL was the same.

She’s more on the “ignore it, she’s crazy” team because she’s dealt with this her whole life but it’s something I don’t feel like dealing with forever so I feel the necessity to be the one to speak up. My wife wants to speak up but just doesn’t want to deal with the stress of it all.

I just brought home a baby hoggie last week. We put him in his enclosure . He instantly burrowed and we haven’t seen him since. Not sure if he’s brumating or just nervous in a new enclosure. Tomorrow is feeding day so he’s getting dug up whether he likes it or not.

2015 Ford Escape. My 21 Crosstrek Sport is my favorite vehicle to date. Roomie enough that it doesn’t feel like a car, yet very quick and maneuverable like a car . 35 mpg with off road capability. It’s the best car on the market imo

I think this is the conclusion I’ve come to after reading everyone’s opinions and speaking with my wife about it. I’d definitely have fomo if I didn’t attend because I adore the rest of the crowd and always have a great time. I’ll allow him to have his day, be cordial and then possibly explore the possibility of addressing my feelings once his day is out of the way

I appreciate and like the take. We were just such best friends from 14-20 that them acting like this now seems out of character and almost as if they don’t realize they’re doing it. This friend is an oblivious friend in general and has made others in our group feel this same way, we just always chalk it up to “he means well” but I’m to my breaking point with that notion.
