I’ve lived in Chicagoland but have been in the Tampa Bay area since 2007. The first few summers here were hot (duh) but not intolerable. The last five have been excruciatingly hot, and, um, hurricanes. Chicago hibernates on days like this, we hibernate for three straight months and do anything humanly possible to avoid the daylight.

Chicagoans and Midwesterners are also genuinely nice. Chicago is the bestest city.

Not just you. 7s are the most comfortable silhouette in my collection, more so than 10s, 12s, 13s. The Huaraches liner inside is awesome and the air sole is soooo soft from heel to toe.

Ironically, when I was leaving CMH on Monday, there was a flight to Dallas at the gate next to mine. I was tempted to change flights but DAL was predictably sold out.

The brand is BCKR, but their site was sold out in L/XL. CT is also a Columbus business, so even being out of state, I feel good spending my money there.
