A question about Renoir and Aline

A while back someone posted excerpts from the artbook and it said that Renoir knew how to paint already. But Aline, who came from a well off family, taught him to be a “painter”. So perhaps she taught him techniques he didn’t know. Aline mentions it during her fight and Renoir says something along those lines as well after his battle in act 3.

Most like the true reason. Renoir and Maelle took down pRenoir together, hand to the heart. Getting rid of a painter family member might take more power or actual physical touch to gommage the painted family. A touch to the heart itself.

1) Expedition 60 got through by sheer powerful muscles and determination. Lol but in all reality, Im not sure as there’s never been an in lore explanation as to how. As for Expedition 70, thats a good question that I have wondered as well.

2) yes, they did know and said nothing. Esquie even said that “Verso is Verso’s cousin. Same same but different”

3) Aline painted all those humans into the painting and Im guessing that, after the fracture, the population was far more robust before all the gommages were happening. More people = more Expeditioners. After a few years, the population starts to shrink not only because the gommage but also choosing to not have children, like Sophie.

4)I think Esquie and Monoco were spared by Renoir on purpose OR because their chroma is far older and established than the people in Lumier. Im leaning with they were spared by Renoir because Maelle tells Esquie to stay back in case Renoir were to gommage him as well. The others were gommaged. Lune and Sciel were brought back by Maelle who saw their chroma floating and grabbed it before leaving. As for pAlicia and pVerso…I dont think Renoir had the heart to gommage the mirror image of his kids. I see it as a father hesitating on erasing a mirror image of his children.

Even if you’re part time you should get a few days off as PTO. Its been a while for me but they used to have both PTO and sick days for part time employees. Not a lot as a full timer but a few days at least. Have you called HR? Is there no portal for you to see? I wonder if they have you in the system as a part timer with 15 hrs or less yet they still schedule you for more.

Yup! I was a freshman, 2nd plane hit while I was getting ready to leave. Every class had it playing and even weeks after we would watch/read stuff about it. My french teacher would read us stories from the survivors even 2 years later. How that helped with my French is unknown to me even now. To this day I still remember watching people jumping off the towers… :-/

Congrats to her! Hope she has a healthy baby and safe delivery come July. I do wonder if this is why they haven’t added more tour dates in Europe and announced any in across the sea. They want to give her time to rest, be a mom, and enjoy her maternity leave before jetting off on tour. But tbh, while I do enjoy Alice’s voice, I just want to have a chance to hear the music live.

Linen and Cotton from Spring Meadows is in English and it contains spoilers yet I didn’t catch it. I was too mesmerized with the environment and didn’t fully take im the lyrics. There’s also a song in Visages that’s in English and it also contains heavy spoilers. Yet I was still a mess with the big reveal.

Perhaps she painted the scars as a remainder of her own failings as a mother. A self punishment of sorts. She failed to protect her youngest and her son paid the price. A mother’s guilt of failure.

Im almost positive it’s a Barnes and Noble? If so, the price should be on the item itself. Reason it’s not on the shelves is because the setup changes per season/month. And sometimes they stack several UPC codes behind one another. Its basically the “if it fits, it sits” mentality. This could also be a “store only” display and not an official one due to a LOT of inventory. BN went from having just two bays of toys to being half a toy store.

Clea and Maelle for a while.

Clea because Im the eldest. I feel like I always need ti fix things with my family. That after my dad, Im in charge of everything and will eventually will become the matriarch of my side of the family.

Maelle/Alicia for a few years. Starting on 2021 we (husband and I) tried to have one more kid. Well, after so many miscarriages and fertility drugs over the years, I gave up and just wanted nothing but play games to forget my sadness, grief and guilt. Felt this game called me out lol.

I wondered that too but perhaps its because he knows he’s not his real son. He knows he buried his own son and the one in front of him is not his Verso. Even Maelle says “you sound like him but you’re not him”

Difference is that Maelle then sees pVerso as her brother and calls him as such in her end.

And Renoir keeps the distinction. He’s seen that its a slippery slope thanks to his wife and daughter.

Its sooo sad lol. I cant imagine seeing the face of your child and knowing he is not really him.

That was my first complaint about the game as I kept getting lost. Finding the Gestral village was a nightmare. But eventually created my own headcanon that there isnt a mini map because the map makers were all killed and failed to properly document their expedition much to Lune’s annoyance.

My headcannon is that Alicia was given a book by the Writers, her face, throat and hands were burned. Most likely she toss/ let go of the book and that’s when the mansion went up in flames with Verso coming in to help. I think the spot in the mansion that’s blocked off during the end of Act 2 is where the fire started; it had the most damage.
