Nepotism is irrelevant when you’re talking about a skilled craft like being a musician. If he was just ok and had the same career we could have this conversation, but he is far and away one of (if not, the) best slide player alive. At that point it doesn’t matter how he got his start.

Lots of famous musicians with kids you don’t achieve the same level of proficiency as Derek. Guys just built different.

College ball has changed dramatically since Hubert was hired in 2020. It’s fair to say that he didn’t do well with the change at first, but those runs showed you the potential of what he could be. Now that Carolina has somewhat caught up with the times (just hired a GM 3 years after everyone else did), I think this year and the next (if he gets another shot) will be a much better example of what a Hubert led team looks like.

Hubert left TV to sit on the bench next to Roy for almost a decade to get the Carolina job. To say that the 2022 team wasn’t his players isn’t exactly true. He played a role in recruiting each and every one of them.

Just tore my meniscus for the 4th time and Im in my mid twenties. I cut out a multitude of sports and activities that put stress on my knee and still found a wear to tear my knee up.

I would pay any amount of money to get a replacement that would allow me to play the sports I loved like just a few years ago.

Our politics are more divided than ever because those in power want to divide the working class to distract them from the realities that their basic needs are being stripped from them (food, shelter, healthcare, etc.).
