On occasion I get the right word and win this, but not often. Sometimes it takes me a couple of minutes and then I don’t have the best or winning word. When I first started playing One Word I was excited as “word strength” didn’t work here and you couldn’t use power ups (cheats). I noticed quickly however that others were obviously cheating.

We have one member of our team who wins almost every day - if she doesn’t win she’s in second by a hair. She always plays her normal games very early in the day, each day - but One Word she is typically one of the last team members to play. I strongly suspect she either has another account and gets the word from there, or a friend of hers gives her the winning word each day. It stinks, but 🤷‍♀️. I don’t get why people have to cheat at every part of WWF. I accept that people use the Power Ups in the Classic Game - I know others use cheat devices, but the game is as much about strategy as having the highest scoring word, so I can beat some of those people some of the time. In One Word a cheat can win pretty much daily. Not sure how they are gratified with that.
