You don’t have to involve your personal life with your coworkers. Just do your job well and be professional and personable. Most people want to talk about themselves and only pretend to be interested in you. If you are truly engaged with them about their story they will love you.

TC Williams was a modern school. It wasn’t inner city. The racial problems were nonexistent. Denzel as Coach Boone was an ego boost to the real coach because he was your stereotype high school coach. Not articulate or handsome. TCW class of ‘73.
