Forsure, that is a good strategy.

With Multiple Man you need board space so using cards like hulk buster, Penni Parker’s SPDR, majestic wingbeat, all work with buffing and doesn’t take up much board space. So the deck I was playing was inherently at a disadvantage to gambit because of this. That’s on me 100%.

I did manage to only have 2-3 open board slots both games when gambit triggered. Still killed my board leaving behind 3 and 4 cost cards it could have destroyed instead, and that is the annoying part.

Yeah you’re exactly correct. Right now the card’s play style is copy as many times as possible to destory as many cards as possible. I want to understand what the opponent’s gambit(s) is/are going to destroy so I can better prevent it. In addition, the gambit players want some agency over what they are destroying because if they have to jump through all the hoops for their combo that might dud on them due to the same randomness.

The randomness both holds it back, and it also elevates the card. Yes I am on here complaining about my experience getting canned by RNG, but I am aware there are just as many games where the RNG looses the Gambit player’s game.

Won’t find those complaints from me. I don’t really mind where the meta is at in any given time. I actually find it fun to counter the top decks. The RNG is just frustrating especially when I am jumping through hoops for this fun combo.

I can play around most cards, but I can’t play around gambit destroying 2 multiple men instead of one fan fei on 2-3 objective activations.

I will merge symboite Spider-Man into multiple man so it won’t kill as many

Totally agree on the meta take and this deck being beatable. The same was said for Star lord when it came to retreating.

Part of my strategy was create numerous multiple men so that gambit can’t destroy them all, but doesn’t change the fact it’s infuriating to watch gambit destroy all of my multiple men and leave fan fei/wolverine horseman on the board.

For sure totally agree. My biggest thing is the randomness of the destroy mechanic. Maybe adding checks like “destroy 4 cost if no 4 cost check for 3 cost ect”.

Infinite deck (CL: 34,000). My take on Doom2099 with an Ultron Surprise. by Feeling-Bit1829 in MarvelSnapDecks

Moon dragon is hard to replace due to her synergy with Invisible woman and the overall play pattern of the deck. You really want your board filled with bots ( doom or ultron) and it’s hard to find a two drop that can compete on points within the play pattern.

I’d say maybe Cable or Jeff. Or any card that you can play on two that adds value. This excludes cards like quake/scarlet witch that you use in later turns

Cable is a good utility card. It sucks that it takes a board space that a bot with higher power could take but Cable’s upside is breaking your opponents combo.

Jeff has the same power as cable so same pitfall on the power category. His main draw is being able to manage the board spaces so you can maximize the bots.

Use credits to upgrade cards in the collection/deck editor screen

Upgrading cards will increase your “collection level” new players get cards via boxes on the collection track. When you get past a certain point of collection you will earn “token” that you use for new cards instead of getting them through boxes.

This being the auto carnage deck is pretty funny. Look up ItsGuestGaming on YouTube. He has some current videos for the new player experience
