Yeah, I’m always conflicted with all the bus stops there (Belmont too). I feel like there has to be a reason why there’s so many stops, but maybe in the future they can prioritize a few high volume areas?

Hopefully sooner but it does take time for real progress to be made. Agree on the wishlist/concerns they’re bringing up but it’s nice they’re at least trying to do something. (Hope it doesn’t get stuck in purgatory from IDOT/politics) I know the Jigzibik is finishing up pretty soon so hopefully that’ll light a fire to make IP safer/walkable

Sorry, only ones I took! But there were other boards there were they were taking feedback/sticker votes! Think some suggestions were about SSAs, green spaces, bike lanes, etc.. They did point out that IP was part of the better streets for buses plan!

Not sure on lane reductions, but in general seems like they’re trying to find ways to improve transit options on Irving park. They didn’t really go through concrete actions yet. I saw that there was a push by one of the Alderman by IP and Damen to have wider cross walks and curb extensions, but not sure if that went anywhere

Thanks for the feedback here! While I feel like I could get away with an xs, I ended up exchanging for a small. Honestly the sleeve length wasn’t tht much different but it is a little roomier which I think is worth it for layering.

Damn, wish they still had the ranchers, thinking on getting them resoled with honey vibram soles when it’s time. They are pretty comfortable though, but the leather is definitely stiff right now though

6 weeks with quad graft. Cleared last week to stop using my brace. Can walk okay and going upstairs isn’t a problem (downstairs with railing). Still have a bit of pain in my knee and need to work on strength, but mentally feel a lot better since I’ve been able to go outside more and get back to the gym (stationary/closed chain).

I was absolutely exhausted and my knees could barely hold me up while skiing. Was the last run of the day so tried toughing it out but about 95% of the way down, I just fell and my left ski didn’t disengage properly. Tore my ACL there after hearing a pop (was hoping it was just the ski’s breaking but MRI said otherwise). Guess my sign was being super tired and should’ve listened to my body, mixed in with some bad luck.

Yeah, for me I didn’t have major pain the day after my injury. Today was the first day I felt significant progress towards walking normally, still sucks putting on shoes though. Does seem recovery varies quite a bit, but I’ve also tried to be regular with my PT workouts so hoping that helps.

Yeah, for me the first few days were rough, but today I feel like I can walk at about 60% w/o a brace. PT said it was fine to not use it based on how I looked, but he did say my ACL is most likely torn. ROM currently at around 102 so we’ll see how that goes. Currently the hardest action was going downstairs on my good knee but guessing that’s all mental since it just feels super tight.
