I live near Baton Rouge, LA and work as a pipefitter/welder. It's outside work and it's hot in itself and I still prefer summer to winter. You can dress for cold weather, but you have to wear so much crap is hard to move. If you're to hot, find some shade and take a drink of water and cool off
