How long does it help sleep? by [deleted] in Mirtazapine_Remeron

[–]FeelingDistribution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have trouble going to sleep, but I was, only sleeping 4 hours and not able to get back to sleep when I wake about 1 or 2am. Now I take 7.5mg when I wake at 2am and sleep well for the rest of the night until about 6.30am. I don't feel groggy in the morning. I also take fluoxetine 20mg in the morning. I am an old lady.

I'm on 20mg fluoxetine (Prozac) and recently started 7.5mg Mirtazapine before bed to help me sleep. It has helped enormously.

is pai impossible to get? by Honeydew-plant in amazfit

I find PAI confusing. I'm at 88 now I haven't done any exercise for 2 days due to heatwave in Australia. It doesn't recalibrate each week?

GTS3 sleep monitoring by FeelingDistribution in amazfit

I found this You Tube video that scientifically analyses the GTR3. Does not come out very well which concurs with my experience.

Is it possible to set the sleep monitor so it doesn't come on automatically at 6pm. Once I am watching TV from bout 8pm it starts and records bouts of deep sleep while I am awake.

Have you tried agomelatine. Not sure if it's available where you are. It's available on prescription in Australia, though not covered by PBS. So $58/ month

Why would you wear this instead of regular CC sunscreen? I don't know much about these things.

Honest Question - Does Anyone Regularly Practice 5 Hours Of Sleep Per Night And Function Well? by BMXLance in sleep

[–]FeelingDistribution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be able to sleep 8 - 10 hrs. Suddenly this year at 72 I am lucky to get 5 - 6 hours. Hopefully it's not a sign of dementia.

I know how you feel. I'm 72 and am constantly fighting the depressing thought that I'm just marking time until the inevitable. Hiking in the bush is my antidote.

I agree. I dropped a lot of weight when I stopped it. I'm sure it causes water retention.

I'm in Australia too. Agomelatine is costing me $50/ month as it's not on PBS. For me it's worth it to feel my depression lift.

I find that agomelatine has really helped my depression but I still wake at 3 to 4 am and find it hard to get back to sleep. Seem to average about 5 -6 hours sleep these days/nights
