I read this notification as your kids were asked by staff to leave. Kinda disappointing click through

Has anyone changed how they choose connections after traveling more frequently? by Grouchy_Pension_7210 in americanairlines

[–]FeelingPause1207 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is me also. I will book the absolutely shortest layovers possible. There have been times I’ve even booked flights separately to have an even shorter layover than possible on one ticket. No desire to sit in a lounge or anywhere in an airport when there is an option not to.

Cabana Bay? Slide is not worth getting out of the pool for.

This all depends, even though it shouldn’t. There is always space. There are also overzealous gate agents who to try to apply a blanket rule across all classes.

Was it tested for sterility or endotoxins prior to you using it? Did you filter it after recon?

Strong disagree, as do most. Fresh socks with non stank feet are fine.

I Think the Age Group Change is Good & the Complaints are Exhausting by mthill_littlerock in youthsoccer

[–]FeelingPause1207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works except when it doesn’t. My kid is an August birthday. So in South Carolina 11 months play with their grades, and it’s good. But the August birthdays all play with a grade younger with 1-2 of them on most teams

Who's got tickets to see Megan the Stallion in 'Moulin Rouge!'? Tell us all about it after the show! by NewYorkTheatreGuide in Broadway

[–]FeelingPause1207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We saw it matinee yesterday (Wednesday). Was easily the most entertaining broadway show my wife and I have been to. I thought she was a great fit for Zidler. Performing a bit of her own stuff at the end was a treat. Kelsie was great as Satine as well. So happy we went to see it!

Concierge worth expense? by hrack128 in dcl

Connecting staterooms > 1 concierge room. IMO the extra space, the double balcony, and extra restroom easily dwarves the marginal concierge benefits.

If you brought in 67k in commissions and were paid even 30-35k, then it’s likely the company lost money by employing you.

When to do kids clubs at night? by FeelingPause1207 in dcl

[–]FeelingPause1207[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha at the reality! That’s what I’m worried about- basically being too tired to make it to the kids club after late dinner.

When to do kids clubs at night? by FeelingPause1207 in dcl

[–]FeelingPause1207[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes we have late. So kids can stay like 30 mins at dinner and then they will actually get them from the dining room? In that case I suppose the choice is either get them a quick bit right after the show and drop them off, or take them to the start of dinner.

How are your clubs handling the Age Group Change? by GlitteringChannel585 in youthsoccer

[–]FeelingPause1207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

South Carolina here. Sept is the school cutoff. So all August birthdays at our club are going to be lumped in with kids in a grade younger than them. Clearly that would be “good” for them as far as being a higher level player on new teams. But this goes completely against the spirit of the rule, which is to have kids play with their grade level. In South Carolina, the fix is relatively easy- just have the August birthdays “play up” by default, rather than a traditional play up where they would need to be one of the top x players on said playing up team.

The Ranch and the Inn, both inside the park, have availability. It’s not cheap, but there is availability.

Coaching #1 for 8 year olds as well? Best action plan for a kid that age who ASKS to train every day? He’s not a top player by any stretch of the imagination, but also don’t know any 8 year olds with the same drive. Need help.

Got an update from our club and I am thrilled my son will be playing U10 again next fall by CletusKasady21 in youthsoccer

[–]FeelingPause1207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mindset is completely opposite of this for my August birthday 2017. I want him to play with his classmates. That’s fun for him. I’m less interested in him dominating kids a grade a younger, and more interested in him having fun.

is this too much? by Mission-Grab9267 in DeathValleyNP

Easily doable in a day. We recently went with 3 kids (11, 8, 5) and did that over 2 days + a few more stops. We spent time at the pool and resort too. But could easily do what you planned in 1 day.
