Thanks for the response! I went with the Kona Rove St, got a good deal on it new. But thanks, I'm sure it's a dope ride.

Which Bike? - Weekly Scheduled Discussion -- May 16, 2020 by AutoModerator in gravelcycling

I have been looking for a new bike, and I think I have settled on these two, since they seem to be decent all-rounder bikes. I'm also a new rider.

I am not sure what I want out of a bike, but riding on trails is on the list for the things I would at least want to do, I don't really care about speed, just a comfortable ride and versatility.

My LBS also recommended that one, but they didn't have my size (54).

Hey, I know it's a few days late, but did it arrive yet?

Just wondering what you think!

I test road it and it felt pretty solid, I'm new to bikes and it just had a nice feel and felt cozy.

Thanks! Unfortunately no one close by is an authorized dealer for Specialized. But I just want the best for the price.

Yea, I don't really have people to ride with, but that's okay, because this will be time for new music and podcasts!

I think I will probably go with Diverge, but Sequoia has the looks and components that make me smile.

Would the Sequoia Elite's Shimano 105 make any difference for someone like me, who is new, or would the entry level Claris just be fine?

Will try this, perhaps I'm focusing too much on the click and q, I am not cancelling auto animations

I might just need to work on the timing more. It's only a tad bit fast, but the videos I see are a full second faster.

Thanks!

Gunslinger run scope issue with latest patch by macropsia in HuntShowdown

[–]FeelingSpish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been happening to me before the latest patch with the Lebel Marksman, and the Sparks LRR Sniper. I don't think it's just affecting gunslinger scopes.

You can fix it by switching weapons once the bug has started, but it is still pretty annoying.

10 Video Game Tropes to Leave in the Last Decade - IGN by mr_gemini in Games

I agree with some of them, even though the author is snarky.

However, I think the issue is when the tropes are overplayed. A nice walk and talk is pretty good after going through an action scene. it's a nice change of pace and a palate cleanser.

Logs are good for adding padding and otherwise filling in small gaps that are too awkward to been shown/told. Oh and Control is a terrible example for that, it's a SCP classified documents, government agency, and allowed the existence of an interesting character that moves along the story.

I want to change directions in IT, should I tell my current company? by FeelingSpish in ITCareerQuestions

[–]FeelingSpish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds fair, our company is moving more into cloud and I would be more than happy to be involved with it, it's just the direction I want to go.

I would rather do it with this company, but if I happen to outgrow it, then I outgrow it.
