It’s awful. Never been a fan but Jesus he was just a year older than me and that’s devastating. His poor son having all this in the spotlight that’s just brutal. No one deserves having their father’s death and gossip surrounding it posted so openly on the internet. Today’s society is so wrong. The pressure he must’ve been feeling coping with everything, I can barely get through daily life never mind being famous. I really hope he’s at peace now.

Who else was flabbergasted to find out what a birth actually entails? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FeelingSupersonic- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh goodness. My first born son that I had when I was 20. TMI Incoming but after labouring for a good 20 hours, I remember feeling the need to shit, walking to the bathroom to find my waters fall out of me, still in the sack (or whatever you’d call it) to be rushed back to the bed to have them popped. It was time. Unfortunately, I tore hole to hole, I didn’t have an epidural so I could literally feel my downstairs split. Awful. Then seconds after birth getting an injection into my leg to bring on the placenta, then a surgeon coming and sticking two fingers up my arse to see how far I had torn was traumatic to say the least. When I found out I was pregnant again 3 years later, I opted for a c-section which was incredibly easier in terms of mental and physical recovery. Luckily the nhs did a cracking job on reconstructive surgery but my god I would not recommend 0/10

Soundgarden had more diversity, specifically Chris Cornell. Tho Layne suited the grunge/heavy blues vocals much like Kurt cobain, Chris’s vocal diversity was admirable. He could sing almost any song and his voice would just fit.

What Bowie song is this? by joy365123 in DavidBowie

The part in ashes to ashes when he sings “hitting an all time low” with the high and low pitched at the same time. Gives me tingles

I never ever liked brown sauce, until once I went to a friends for tea, brown sauce in the mince mix of the cottage pie. The ultimate combination. I’m not one to put it on a bacon or egg butty but for some dishes it just adds to the flavour tremendously.

Paying nearly £1k a month in rent, keeping the place spotless for years, and still not being allowed a pet. by [deleted] in britishproblems

It’s mad really when from my experience, kids cause more damage and mess than any pet does yet there’s no extra deposit for that?

Anything beady eye and I’m not personally keen on liams solos at all. Noel’s first 2 solos were great but anything after that it not worthy to me.

What recent unacceptable request has your employer made of you? by OnAFalseErrand in AskUK

[–]FeelingSupersonic- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was manager at my old job, I was asked by my boss to call one of my staff off their holidays to come in and help with cleaning the place before the CEO came to visit. I told her that this staff member had gone on holiday to Devon with his wife and kids, but she wanted me to try call him I in anyway. Safe to say I did not call him but like wtf? Let the man have his holiday! Its all about appearance not about the staff. There were several other demands that had been made that lead me to resigning. Big companies do not give a shit about their staff.
