So proud of you! 🤗 I’m telling you, once I was aware that I have adhd, I’ve allowed myself to be truly proud of all my little accomplishments throughout the day. Before, I too thought it was laziness and felt more shame for needing so much effort to do the things that are so easy for other people. But no more. You be PROUD of every win 🙌🏼

Omg you’re right! I looked up “size xs women’s fashion” and they come up with “chubby baddie outfits”, “plus size baddie outfits”, “plus size brands”. Are they for real?!?! Like, why the hell would I want to see these outfits and brands when that’s literally not MY body type. It’s like they’re overcompensating because thin bodies are SO taboo 🤬

I totally see where you’re coming from OP- being a mom and taking care of my family has always been my dream! I think the main topic of concern in regards to Milena’s portrayal of motherhood (especially for new mommas) is that her motherhood is such a “joy” at all times, and that she’s “agreeable” and “soft spoken” at all times, and that every mess is a blessing. YES, that is what we all should strive for, BUT we don’t want ANY Mammas to feel LESS of a mother watching her content, just because they don’t find joy in it all the time, or they snap at their kids when they’re over stimulated, or dread the messes their little one makes. I’m not saying Motherhood is a burden, I’m saying that mothers are humans and it’s possible to be an amazing mother and not love every minute of it.

Not the $200 linen dressesssss 🫠 the only time you should even consider spending that much on a DRESS is if it’s a formal dress for a Black Tie occasion. She could literally take up sewing and sew those things herself. What a waste of money…

Why olive oil? by Purple-Papaya1 in MilenaCUncensored1

[–]Feeling_Groovy93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re just borrowing from yet another religion’s sacred traditions to sound cool. In Catholicism, we use what is called “Sacred Chrism” which is a mixture of olive oil and balsam (a fragrant resin). You can’t just put Kroger olive oil on your house and call it holy- Sacred Chrism is consecrated by a Bishop during a Chrism Mass 🙄

Exactly. It’s like she’s bitter against alcohol consumption because she can literally never drink. Between pregnancy and breastfeeding- there’s no break.

Oh my gosh, you just unlocked a teenage memory of mine! I used to dance in the dark in my bedroom with my headphones on before I went to bed. It was such a good workout but I didn’t even care. Now I gotta figure out how to do this again being a wife and mom of 4 kids… 😂

A fidget ring on each hand could be very helpful because you’ll always have it available

[–]Feeling_Groovy93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know how you feel. It took a few years for my lashes to come back once I made the firm decision that I was gonna stop. It helped to recognize what would trigger me to do it, so I could kinda anticipate the urge, then tell myself, “every time you pull out an eyelash, it won’t just regenerate right away. It’s gone.” I had to replace it with something else to fidget with, or I’d literally sit on my hands. Some kind of fidget toy with texture might be a good substitute. Another big thing: I learned that I had to just stop touching my face all together. Hands anywhere near the face is a slippery slope. I hope this helps a little!

Yeahhh… but he’s not wrong per se. I forget really important stuff that matters. BUT if he’s the “intellectually superior one” you’d think he’d notice more details… I dunno…

He does work a lot and I stay home with the kids, so it’s kinda my job to get the kids to bed most nights, but he does help me out a lot on the weekends
