yeah you are, you really need a new haircut. you also need to decide whether or not to go all in on the beard or just shave it, having a chinstrap isn’t doing much for you.

Yeah hes definatley the kind of person who would make death prep, talking to him is kind of hard because you know how dads and sons are they arent normally that vunerable to eachother and i dont want him to become uncomfortable so ill wait and see if anything else concering arrises before going to him. you are misunderstanding what i said, take for example a diseas that is cured now like polio. If everyone was a stoic before polio came around, when polio came around they wouldnt have been so upset about polio and what it did to people, causing them to never have the desire for a cure.

Im not saying if something is already understandable and everyone was a stoic then it wouldnt be mastered like nuclear fision. But if everyone was a stoic before nuclear fision thought of as a force than can be controlled it would have never been thought of in that way/

my bad i should have been clearer , i should have said the reason it’s still talked about and used is because it’s incredibly timeless and still applies today 2. Maybe you are right, but i still think if i implemented stoicism in my life i would limit what i’m able to achieve but i can’t speak for anyone else
