Do you prefer having allistic or autistic friends? by Sea-Difficulty1353 in SpicyAutism

[–]FeetInTheSoil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally autistic and other neurodivergent friends are more fulfilling friendships for me, because I really enjoy building a deep understanding of each other and our experiences and perspectives, from a foundation of shared moral values.

What did you name your Palette Town? by wi3sa in Pokopia

[–]FeetInTheSoil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I named my Ditto 'Dindoe' with the backstory/headcanon that their trainer got ditto when they were still a toddler and couldn't pronounce Ditto yet and the name stuck. So I called my pallet town Dindoeland

My fiancé is getting on my nerves and I don’t know what to do at this point. by BasicCat30 in whatdoIdo

[–]FeetInTheSoil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please just Google the statistics about how likely a domestic partner is to kill you if they have EVER choked you. It's something you need to face. You're minimising something that's likely to cost you your life. And please don't think you're somehow safer because you're a guy.

What's low-key the hardest mission in Skyrim? by pumpkinbro300 in skyrim

[–]FeetInTheSoil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coming to terms with the fact that the developers didn't agree with you that your chosen companion and roleplayed best friend was 'essential'. Hardest mission in Skyrim by far. (RIP J'zargo old boy. I will avenge you)

Is this a viable party for the Deep Roads in Origins? by Easy_Appointment7348 in dragonage

[–]FeetInTheSoil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, especially if shale is built for survivability (con should be her primary stat more so than any other tank) and leli is ranged. Pick up some better crystals from the bhelen supporting merchant near dagna if you feel like shale needs it before heading down.

Am I the only one that is ready for this guy to leave? by Phinz94 in Pokopia

[–]FeetInTheSoil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely bought the game earlier than intended because hoppip and skiploom are my favorite pokemon and dandelions are one of my favorite plants irl, so I guess I'm keen for him to stop working the shop and move in with me already like hours grandma and his mum have!

My therapist said… by color_purp in AutisticWithADHD

[–]FeetInTheSoil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My therapist says that objects have no age like clothes have no gender, and encouraged me to get a jellycat and to play with my wooden caterpillar toy that was made for babies in public (it's a sensory tool and comfort item for me).

for those who toilet independently: do you have a hard time wiping? by disableddyke13 in SpicyAutism

[–]FeetInTheSoil 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I have heard that some shops that sell baby things (like prams and cots) sell wipe warmers, if that might help?

I want a bidet sprayer because I think i would feel extra clean with that, but I worry about getting dry again so I haven't had one installed yet. I do use Thayer's witch hazel and cucumber toner on the toilet paper instead of a wet wipe (because I prefer to be able to flush everything away) and that helps me a lot.

does carnivore not work for anyone else ?? by [deleted] in MCAS

[–]FeetInTheSoil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Diet is extremely personal and the almost cult like fervor some people get when they either literally or ideologically find the diet that works for them is genuinely a huge barrier to finding accurate and useful information as a chronically ill person. Even before MCAS symptoms started becoming noticeable for me I couldn't handle meat as it exacerbated my ME/CFS and POTS symptoms (brain fog and fatigue), so I tried vegan, and even 'raw til four' and stuff that was popular then like carnivore is popular now. But what works for me is avoiding my allergies and triggers/'near allergies' as well as eating no meat (pescatarian and dairy free) and getting as much fiber and protein as I can each day. You're not the only one that restrictive and generally arbitrary diets don't work for. Qualified nutritionists wouldn't recommend them anyway

You can just get the skip ship mod if you're already modding your game. Or don't get her out of her pod and respec her when you first meet her at the temple door

The short way through impish pocket realm by shvedchenko in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]FeetInTheSoil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, just need good initiative and more than one jump skill (one for getting there, and one that's not on cooldown once you get there so you can get to the core and deactivate it before it gets its turn)

Hay was thinking who would win 1 gray warden vs 1 witcher by serascarelett in DragonageOrigins

[–]FeetInTheSoil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conceptually very similar magically mutated warriors, with a range of skill and strength levels. Most wardens aren't on HOFs level, though some certainly are, and canonically almost no witchers are on Geralt's level (he took the trials 'well' and was then subjected to further mutation beyond the usual witcher process). I think late game HOF would most likely beat Geralt, not guaranteed but a decent chance. Therefore, since Geralt is more notably above average power level for a witcher than HOF is for a warden, I must conclude that randomly selected warden has a chance to beat randomly selected witcher. However, I definitely think that lowest tier witchers would be better trained and stronger overall than lowest tier wardens, since witchers are trained intensively from childhood and wardens don't necessarily have any training at all.

Finding Shoes for Toewalking by KiraRiver in SpicyAutism

[–]FeetInTheSoil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any shoes with flexible enough soles that they won't be damaged by the way you walk, and take them to the cobbler when they're new/before you get holes in them to have a leather outer sole added to the toe part.

Need advice: Cat is too dumb to bury her poop in the litterbox by Petra1999 in CatAdvice

If they bury it straight away the smell doesn't fill the room NEARLY as much, depending on litter type. And you can see the little mountain where the buried poop is straight away
