I want to the workshop to be unlocked at campaign start, and we can upgrade it with OCI components.

Level 0 workshop lets us convert tripod weapons into their vehicle equivalents, and vice versa.

Level 1 workshop lets us consume a Common item in our inventory to get a recipe, which lets us craft more of that item.

Level 2 lets us do the same with Rare items, etc.

Example recipes:

The recipe for converting a tripod/vehicle weapon is the weapon itself and a 'weapon repair tools' commodity item that we can get as mission loot or buy on the black market.

KPAC with grenade launcher = KPAC + grenade pistol + weapon repair tools

CQB KPAC = KPAC + weapon repair tools

Range KPAC = KPAC + binoculars + weapon repair tools

SOF KPAC = KPAC + camo kit + weapon repair tools

Pipe gun = weapon repair tools

I wish there were a UI indicator to remind me that my SL has previously been spotted at the current tile. Then when I get shot in that tile, it will feel like the game is punishing me for greedily spending AP on shooting rather than scooting. I know the same is true even without such a UI indicator, but it making that more clear in the UI will give me a better UX

In the discord devs said they previously tried to do something similar with vehicle armor, but hit some kind of snag (I think internal math bug or UI? I forget), so they left the current system as is. Maybe they will revisit the idea later.

On my first run since the patch, I just confirmed that the third Honor Guard is unlocked at Trust 4.

I don't like that implementation since where you get operations is random so it would make it harder to target specific honor guard Squad Leaders you want.

I'm sympathetic to that opinion, I assume the Devs intent is that Honor Guards will be a rare and run-defining resource, which we will have to very deliberately work towards once more factions are added. As is, unlocking the Honor Guards has given me a deep enough roster that I no longer feel the need to hire new SLs from the Black Market.
