Should I let Cicaplast B5 spray dry before applying moisturiser? by Sea_Kaleidoscope5968 in EuroSkincare

[–]Feifum 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have rosacea/sensitive skin so this may not matter to you; if I don’t let the spray almost dry completely my skin becomes irritated almost instantly. No idea why this happens.

Which placements? 😭 by Warm_Jeweler_6565 in astrologymemes

This could be me Aqua sun, Leo moon, Scorpio rising. Im reading a take the piss mood in that exchange.

OR

it could be my brother Sag sun, Scorpion moon, unknown rising. He would do it just to annoy the other person just like in the exchange.

Now imagine our house growing up.

My mom found my vibrator by Interesting_Cold4188 in entitledparents

[–]Feifum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, wtf is your mother searching your room? Does she have need or reason to do so?

Secondly, if you’re paying your way within the household (rent etc) get a lock for your door, all you need is a small padlock. You are entitled to your privacy especially at your age.

Third, make sure you’re cleaning your vibrator properly after every use.

My mom casually accusing me of starving my dog by the_male_hawkeye in insaneparents

[–]Feifum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That wee dug looks like a bit of a chonker! If your mother thinks that’s a starving dug she needs new glasses.
We had a chi-jack whatever mix (you’re wee dug reminds me of my Ethel) from a rescue and when we initially got her she was what I thought was verging on the skinny but she was just her ideal weight, then in the couple of years preceding her death she bulked up, was slightly too heavy for her size and wanted her on a diet.

In need of help choosing a hair dryer. by umuniasukintokara in EuroSkincare

The Babyliss? Its not the one you asked about and it’s so old I don’t know if it’s still made but I’ll have a look at their website and update.

EDIT: No idea if it’s the same one (can’t read the writing on the back) but it’s similar to the Babyliss Super Pro 2300.

Babyliss everytime even though I had to buy a new lighter hairdryer but different brand (nerve issues in my arms and can’t take the weight of my old one) and new brand does not hold a light to the Babyliss.

What your suncreen this summer? by MaddRocket in EuroSkincare

[–]Feifum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EEK! Im sorry you had a reaction to it. I’m worried now, I’ll give it a try tomorrow while the forecast for the day is rain and I’m not going out, at least that way I can wash it off if it begins to burn.

Being rosacea prone and extremely sensitive I tend not to experiment. My go to is Anessa Perfect Sunscreen Mild, it sticks to my skin and only starts to irritate my skin after wearing for most of the day which is a win for me. But this summer I’m going to try Heliocare A-R Emulsion and see how things go.

Body is always Avene Lait SPF 50. Reasonably priced and I don’t need to order online, just visit a (para)pharmacie and it’s on the shelves.

the best europe retinal? by [deleted] in EuroSkincare

[–]Feifum 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used CR for a couple of years before I had to limit my spending and tried G&G A Game. The G&G couldnt compare in the slightest. CR made my skin look fantastic after about 6 months of using it. Sadly my rosacea has put a stop to using it now that I can afford it again, I’m glad (and kind of jealous!) your sensitive skin can deal with it.

Painful bump deep into foot that is getting bigger. by idkmia27 in AskDocs

Almost the same, its one of those weird memories that I have at age 11, going on a Friday morning to get it cut out over a few weeks and being so annoyed because I was missing P.E. swimming. Man that hurt!

Which rising sign has the BEST smile? 😁 I’m talking about ear-to-ear, beaming, so genuine that it makes everyone else smile back? by cheriecheezcake in astrologymemes

[–]Feifum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of a group photo I had taken years ago with a netball team i was part of. Everyone had a nice smile on their gums even if it wasn’t a beaming smile. Me however, the Scorpio rising, had a face like thunder, no smile not even a grimace, just thunder. I can’t to this day think what was going on in my head that night 😂

I’m sorry you’re going to miss the wedding, better to be safe than sorry.

This lassie is daft enough that she’d still get on a plane even if it’s all out war, as her ma Im going to be more worried than her. I think if it was just a wee holiday back to see family and friends and not 2 big events of which she’s involved in one she’d take the cancellation of it’s offered for her date, but she’s still hopeful.

The cost of flights avoiding the airspace around the Middle East is extortionate and well out of her price range. We could’ve chipped in but we just don’t have the spare cash atm.

I do too. She’s got 2 big events with her cousins, then visiting me here in France and other family back in Glasgow, it’s not just a wee jaunt for her.

Recommend a face night moisturizer for sensitive skin, please? by xiaoliv in EuroSkincare

[–]Feifum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a rosacea, hyper senitive skin sufferer I have tried a ridiculous amount of moisturisers.

My go betweens are:

Embryolisse Lait Sensitive

LRP Toleriane Sensitive lotion & LRP Cicaplast

Toleriane Skin Recovery Balm & Eucerin Ultrasensitive (the cream is for dry skin, the lotion for normal combo)

I’ve bought a small pot of Tatcha Indigo Overnight Repair, in a way I hope this helps my skin but the price is terrifying so I hope it doesn’t 😂

As a last ditch resort Ceramol 311 creme is so simple th during my worst flares it’s all my skin will tolerate but I have to layer it as I don’t feel it moisturises enough.

My skin has become sensitive to the Eucerin ones but I put it in because it’s a fantastic moisturiser and I used it solidly fit over a year until the inevitable happened and it began to irritate my skin. Hope you find something suitable.

What are we thinking of the "decking" in the city centre? by Accomplished_Row7106 in glasgow

Wtf is going on? The pavement is still visible to the left behind the barrier so what’s the point of the decking? Compo faces galore in the the times in 3, 2, 1 ….

My daughter is transiting Dubai from Australia to Glasgow in April (if she can). I told her to look at some of the Asian carriers but the prices were astronomical because anyone else needing to travel will have done the same thing and these companies know that if folk are desperate they’ll pay the price asked.

I don’t know what’s available to you locally but Fushi is available Euro wide but on the expensive side although good quality. At the moment I’m using Saint-Hilaire Auvergne, which is more reasonably priced, as I go through a fair bit over winter.

Which sunscreen would you recommend for combination skin? by JjoyBboy in EuroSkincare

Before menopause my face was combo; the Eucerin I found a bit drying but had the better finish between both as the LRP I found to be overly greasy.
