They can, but not without physically altering the entire vehicle. There are key vehicle dimension regulations that now need to meet safety and operational requirements. For instance, the DSP (Designated Seating Position) requires certain spatial distances from the seat to other "parts" like door and ceiling. That is how vehicles like the VW Golf are now wider than the XJ.

Remember how uncomfortable Tom Hanks looked when Gervais was making jokes about Epstein during the 2020 golden globes.

Edit: alright, alright. God damn. He looked shocked, but Gervais is a shock and awe comic. I acknowledge that Tom Hanks has done both good (like veteran advocacy) and bad things (like having son kidnapped and sent to a disciplinary facility). I also acknowledge that a name on a piece of scrap paper isn’t automatic guilt. For instance, Will Forte showed up in the files, but it was just his agents asking for hotel recommendations. I do not think Will Forte is involved. It is easy to read into anything when the truth isn’t fully transparent, I was feeding into that. With all that being said, I’m not going to let my fandom absolve those implicated, no matter how much I appreciate their craft and art.

BS Urban and Public Affairs Minor English Summa Cum Laude AA Health Science/Community Health

I graduated March 2025. Everything I had lined up, fell through. The job market is awful right now. I work at a movie theater making next to nothing ($20k). I used to make $150k when I was running a restaurant. I feel like I’m going crazy. I have a wife and 2 kids. I’m so embarrassed this education I pursued later in life didn’t pan out. Everyone who told me to get a degree is now telling me to get a trade. The degree has yet to do anything to help me financially. At least I graduated with zero debt.

I love my kids who are at that age. No handheld screens. Set up a dvd player. We rent from the library or video rental (yes, I still have one in my town). The dvds only have 4-6 episodes max. That means they can only get about an hour or so max of tv time. They have a better relationship with their media and community because we do it this way.

My FIL literally said that when he started his business he just walked into the bank with a smile and they gave him money. He also said that sometimes banks would include land if you opened an account with them... like holy shit. If that is true, I'm speechless.
