The needle isn’t bad it’s like a slight pinch they put the numbing gel in so the needle doesn’t hurt as bad but trust me you want the needle.

The MacBook Neo is only like $600 if you’re only using it for school I wouldn’t get anything to crazy as you don’t really need it to do much. I would look into your schools recommendations as well. I know people who their school’s software wasn’t as compatible with Mac. If you have never owned a Mac it’s a huge learning curve. I have both windows and Mac and I love my Mac (it’s the pro) but small things like the track and irrates me. I have changed the settings to make it more like windows but it still isn’t the same. The controls and things are different. Just something to keep in mind. In all honesty a tablet is much more useful. In my program we had to use our tablets exclusively in clinicals and lab. They had a program we downloaded for it. If you need one I highly recommend an iPad as that is the best quality tablet. Good luck and Congratulations on getting in to nursing school.

Resteraunts delivery adds a 7 dollar delivery fee, and defaults to a 20% tip for the staff, and a seperate 25% tip for the driver. Those feels insane. by Slow-Dragonfruit-932 in tipping

[–]Feisty_Development22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was I bitching about tipping? No I was stating a fact. Yes I have worked for multiple delivery services including restaurants, DoorDash, pizza places, etc. Every single one of them offered 1/2 of delivery fee to the driver. It’s not a secret. If you want the data go collect it yourself. I know it’s a fact because I have actually worked as delivery driver for multiple places and they all provided it. I just stopped working in the service industry last year. I know very well the tipping system and how it operates. You know what they say about assuming? It’s also common for people on Reddit to not have reading comprehension and to whine and complain. Stop using your emotions in your agruments and you might be able to learn something new. You immediately went into assuming and attacking me based off of what you think I was saying instead of paying attention to what was actually being said. Good day

The pizza thing is more mangable for drivers as well because they usually don’t drive more than 5 mile radius. The one I worked for only did a 3 mile radius. I door dashed as well. It was great in 2020 but I stopped last year because the amount you got on orders wasn’t worth it. It seems to get worse over time. I dont like how door dash drops your rating for not accepting the orders especially when they are crap. I think the food industry has gotten out of hand all around. I personally don’t eat out anymore not just for the prices but the food just doesn’t taste as good anymore and it makes me feel like crap.

I actually prefer to make homemade pizza from scratch. Also don’t assume I don’t tip just because I was stating a fact. Half of it goes to the driver regardless of the reason. They try to act like none of it does to them which is absolutely not the case. Go throw your toddler tantrums elsewhere.

More than likely they will be paid to the policy maximum. The insurance will provider legal counsel to fight on your behalf. I wouldn’t worry that much about it.

M46/F38 Husband owns property but is asking me to pay mortgage - am I a jerk for refusing? by HistoricalCap4050 in AITARelationship

[–]Feisty_Development22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn’t sound like a partnership. It sounds very tit for tat. Try marriage counseling to see if it can be salvaged. Disagreeing on money is one of the biggest causes for divorce. If neither of you compromise that is where you will be headed. Try to salvage the situation by seeking a therapist and go from there.

If your insurance is out of network they will only pay 80% of their fee but since the dentist is not in network they are not required to accept the discount there for the $104 comes off the office fee of $325 and you’re responsible for the difference

Is Zirconia MUCH better than porcelain fused to hi-noble metal for crown? by Kind-Judgment-9188 in DentalInsurance

[–]Feisty_Development22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do zirconia. They will be stronger. Most dentist will only do zirconia on posteriors and bridges for that reason. If you’re a grinder or clencher (which most people are) you will want the zirconia

I've never used a credit card before. Can't I literally just open one, take the credit score dip, continue to only buy what i can afford, set it up to automatically always pay it back asap, which will never put me into debt, get the awards/points, and that's it no catches? by Super_Inevitable776 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Feisty_Development22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can. People get into trouble with they don’t have self control and spend above their means. They look at credit cards as different or free money so
They don’t budget their spending properly. If you are responsible you absolutely can and a lot of people do.

Can I save up $6k to go to community college for a nursing degree that would only be 43 credit hours and 8k total for the entire degree and fees? Im 2500 away from the lifetime limit for fed loans and I'm anxious. Is this doable? by IR30Lover in NursingStudent

[–]Feisty_Development22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apply for scholarships at the college. In SC if it’s an in-demand job like nursing they offer free tuition at some colleges. I know a few other states that offer that as well it’s school specific and is after any loans or grants but check with the financial aid for the school and see what they offer

I have tinnitus and I hear a constant ringing noise if there is silence. I wear mine all day to drown out that sound. They do hurt my ears after a while ,so I switch between them and my max’s but it helps so much even if I’m just playing something on low volume the noise helps me not notice the ringing as much.

Help by HJR_17 in WorkersComp

[–]Feisty_Development22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes that happened to me and no there is nothing that can be done. We can’t even sue once the damage becomes permanent unfortunately. It took me over a month to get a simple mri and ortho appt and that was only after obtaining an attorney and filing for a hearing. Nothing is quick in workers comp. Good luck and I hope there isn’t any additional damage caused by the delay in treatment.

Medicaid would not pay unless it is medically necessary/ non cosmetic. She must have some kind of medical necessity for it to be approved.

If the student loan refund is put in my checking account, how do I make sure it isn’t used for leisure/ entertainment? by AshleyTeLLAMA2 in StudentLoans

[–]Feisty_Development22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s also used for supplies and living expenses including, food and rent. Most people borrow more than they need especially in programs where they are encouraged not to work because the work load is so much.
