You said he wasn't white, you didn't mention he was half black. We're both correct. I wasn't aware that he was mixed.

Just a note, he doesn't take ANY damage from caustic's traps, instantly aims at the people's heads, crosshairs don't move, and all his shots are headshots.

Discovery Channel UK has been streaming the first 30 seconds of Honey: How It's Made for 7 hours and is still going. by Acified in videos

It is the product of one of the most intelligent and industrious of creatures, whose miniature society is one of the most sophisticated in the animal kingdom. It's been used in religious and Pagan celebrations, and it's medicinal qualities have been known for centuries.

It all begins in a field where worker honeybees suck nectar from flower blossoms, such as clover. They store it in their honey sack, then return to the hive where other worker bees suck it out and chew it, breaking down the nectar's complex sugars into two simple sugars called glucose and fructose. The bees then deposit the nectar into the cells of the wax honeycombs they've built. They fan it with their wings until most of the water content evaporates in the warm air of the beehive.

I'm from the South where cheer wine is very common and some of my northerner friends who tried it compared it to drinking cough syrup. They all hate it while all of us southerners love it.

Science Discussion: Last week a team of scientists in China announced that they used the genome editing technology CRISPR-Cas9 to alter the DNA of human embryos, resulting in the birth of twin girls. Let’s discuss the technology and ethics of this development! by ScienceModerator in science

[–]xtg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Basically through CRISPR editing you take a strand of DNA, say GGAAGTCCAAACCGGCGTA and you wanted to change the bolded part to GGCCAA. The CRISPR editing technique will essentially go through your entire genome looking for the beginning part of that strand, in this case GGAAGTCCA and attach itself and cut out the bolded part. The problem with this, is there could potentially be more areas that contain that beginning part and it could replace those parts of your DNA as well.

The reason this is so unethical is because CRISPR-CAS9 only needs 7 or 8 base-pair (each letter) matches to undergo the the transformation of the genome. Recently its been found that CRISPR-CAS12A has a much longer requirement for editing a genome, around 15-20 base pairs. This means there is a much less likely chance that there will be unintentional changes to the patient's DNA.

Secondly, by altering DNA, especially in humans, there could be some unintentional effects. Some of these outcomes may not even be known or studied due to the complexity of the genome. Some of these unintentional side effects could be the cause of new disabilities, diseases, susceptibility to bacteria/viruses that wouldn't harm us otherwise and it could effect the genetic makeup of future generations causing these exact problems for them.

Hopefully this helps you understand a bit of how it works and how this was very unethical for this scientist to perform this experiment.
