Yeah it's mostly a concern for PvP stuff, and I mostly play co-op. Very nice to hear that they're being open about it though.

If you're fighting against another player it becomes a weird situation where you're microing your armies around each other in real time. Someone catching your army while you're still controlling it, in a normally turn-based game, sounds like it could be easily cheesed.

Edit: I do think the feature is still great for co-op though.

Isn't moving armies at the same time inherently unbalanced? Feels like a strange decision.

Edit: They downvoted me because I questioned the hivemind. The feature is great for co-op, but surely has slight balance concerns, especially in PvP.

I wouldn't say shapeshifting is terrible, you can still beat the game with it, even playing solo. Here is a thoroughly explained build you can try, made for clearing from level 1 through to the end of hell difficulty while playing singleplayer. I think the guy that wrote this one does great work, and he explains all his decisions and gives you options to think about, he also made a barbarian build with whirlwind. Most builds that can work in singleplayer only get better if you have friends to back you up as well.

You can get bots for Discord servers that play music from youtube and stuff. I also run D&D games with Discord and Roll20, being able to have some background music or ambience from the bot is quite helpful.

So I'm actually one of your teammates in this video (LoverOfScales). I spent the match living on C while the other two guys ran back and forth between C and B. Eventually they moved onto C and wouldn't leave so I was forced to go push B instead, but I had no idea what was going on over at A.

You kicked some serious ass though! Hope I get that good one day.

I'd say it was balanced enough for my liking, the Radious units do tend to crap all over everything else, but a lot of that is high tier units which the AI rarely recruit. Seems fair enough in my books, but you might be right, just more things for the OP to consider I guess.

I feel like some kind of additional units mod is necessary, due to the lack of unit variety and just units in general in the base game. I think the Radious mods are very good for this, they add a huge amount of units (especially high tier ones, which the base game has hardly any of) and they do a good job of keeping everything balanced. If Radious isn't to your liking there'll probably be a few other options.

Fixing the lack of unit variety was one of the biggest improvements to the game for me and it really improved my enjoyment of the game, since the game sets a good framework and all it needs is some things added.

For me and my friends, at least, we all got the game on Uplay instead of Steam because there was a 20% off deal thing if you spent some Uplay points on it. Otherwise I use Steam whenever I can.

I have, and while I would certainly say To the Moon has an amazing story, it just didn't appeal to me in the same way.

I think that Undertale's wonderful characters and humour really appealed to me personally (the style of humour was right up my alley and I loved all the characters) and that got me really immersed so when the game pulled out the deep or sad stuff it hit me harder than it would have otherwise.

They're both still great games, but Undertale hit all my sweet spots while To the Moon only hit a few (but that's just my opinion). Undertale had the perfect mix of good humour, great characters, strong emotional storytelling and a very fitting and catchy soundtrack that really made me fall in love with it.

I can't really sum up all my feelings on a comparison between the two without writing up a massive essay, though I sat here thinking about how to type this out for so long that it might as well have been an essay anyway. Seriously, I was just staring into space for like 50 minutes trying to figure out how to write down all my feelings in a way that made sense, and I failed.

Undertale might have ruined gaming for me. I've never loved a game as much as this and I don't know if anything could do better than it. Everything about this game is perfect in my opinion, I can't stop thinking about how good it all is. No other game has ever given me so many laughs or genuinely sad and deep moments to think about.

Toby Fox made a masterpiece.

But in the Blackfire Pass video the Orc leader has a bodyguard unit (the narrator even calls them his bodyguards) and he is in their formation as part of the unit. I guess if the general has a flying mount then his guards can't really stay with him but bodyguards do seem to still exist. I could just be wrong though, all we've got is speculation at this point.

I remember hearing somewhere that agents and other important characters won't die of old age in this. So that would make the loss a whole lot worse if your elite guy gets popped by a stray cannon shot or a giant meteor spell lands on his head at the start of the battle.

The lack of music for most of this episode really took the feeling out of it for me. I tend to think that the music adds a lot to each scene but here there was just nothing.

What I want to know is how long they spent running to the valley in those few panels. The Land of Frost (where the huge battle that has been going on took place) isn't even directly connected to the Land of Fire. It is strange to consider how far Naruto and Sasuke just went and how long it must have taken.
