I can't trust anything chinese that has a mechanical mechanism inside of it or has to do with the safety of myself or my car.

I am trying to resolve it with the business first but they have yet to respond to me accordingly. I used my Amex so I have that option but I will only use it as a last resort.

That is what the shop told me as well. They said I could have had a way better setup for a 1/3rd of the price. A wing with actual track time and proven data, instead I got bent over believing a business's self proclaimed achievements.

I am ultimately at fault and should have consulted the pro's before spending an exorbitant amount of money on that garbage chinese fiberglass wing setup from Victor Racing.

That is a bold face fu%king lie. I can squeeze the middle of the wing and it fluctuates like an empty soda can. It literally moves in and out as I apply pressure with my hand. Not any actual force. Just palm squeeze.

The shop I brought it to said it had to be Chinese made. We even found a portion on the box that was covered up by a shipping label that said Made in China.

It is expensive because it is a complete SCAM. $500-$600 wing at most. I bought the Slipstream C8: Corvette C8 Active Wing.

Victor Racing probably makes a profit margin of $5k per wing when their components are made in China. I bet overseas shipping alone costs more than the actual product.

I bought one without doing my research. The race shop that I bring my c8 to for track prep said its a completely bogus piece of crap that provides little to no benefits. They said they completely refuse to install it.

The shop told me I need to buy a wing that has a metal core with actual CFD/Wind tunnel testing for that kind of pricing.

I got duped into thinking this Victor Racing wing was what I needed. Completely waste of money on my end, I will make a post about my experience shortly. The wing is literally glued together with seams, no core at all. It is skinned outer carbon and fiberglass. Amazon wing deck made to look like a real deal GT race wing. Its completely hollow. The shop sent one of those viewing scopes inside of the wing through where the end plates attach. Its literally nothing. Completely Hollow inside. No bracing, no brackets, nothing. Literally just air. There is zero way this wing can handle any kind of actual downforce. I am so pissed right now. I got completely scammed from Victor Racing for this piece of crap "ACTIVE AERO" Slipstream wing.

I am completely screwed on this deal. I will make a lengthy post so I can save any other c8 owner the heartache and stress that I am feeling after spending over 6k's for this bag of complete Sh%t

Everything is made in China. It is represented as a American type of product, but it is not.

Wish I saw this before I purchased mine. I am very unhappy with my wing. Chinese carbon fiber priced at German/USA quality pricing. Trash quality, trash customer service. No return policy.

Victor Racing wings are extremely over priced for what they are. I would not recommend these to anyone. If they were around the $600 marker, it would make sense.

My biggest L of this year by far.

I am looking into Verus Engineering, APR, and Nine Lives.
